Afternoon all. Thankyou Moorviews, sorry you're having a tough time too, hugs back at you. Sometimes I find it hard to get up in the mornings for fear of what other carp life will throw our way.
Today I stripped the bed and washed the bedding then hung it out, it's been overcast for most of the day but I think it will dry, it's all cotton and I can put it on the airer in the spare bedroom to finish off anyway. I've re-made the bed with the help of DH rather than struggling with it by myself.
DH decided to power wash the car this morning too so I followed with an old toothbrush to get into the cracks 😂 Then I pottered in the front garden trying to make it at least a bit presentable. On tidying the car shampoo away I found 5 large cardboard boxes in the shed. Think they have been there for about 12 months 😲, shame on us. They have been flattened and now await the recycling team to collect them tomorrow. Also recycled some cardboard coffee pod boxes and a pair of bright red linen type trousers have been put in the cs bag, they're brand new and were just sitting in the wardrobe. They're not really my colour and don't understand why I bought them which must be a couple of years ago now.
Hugs to anyone having a difficult time 🧡

Well Mac has gone to sleep in his hutch and won't come out for me to declutter his litter tray. I won't dare to stick my hand in there while he's having his afternoon siesta...I may not have a hand to pull back out!🤣
In lieu of that, I have swept/hoovered out his run in the conservatory and mopped the conservatory floor.
Tidied out a draw and cupboard in the lr and destashed 2 x books of DMums for the cs bag (with her permission ofc), some random bits to go in the recycling and some other bits that need to go into storage in the garage.
DMum also said she has a couple other books in her room she'll get me to pop in the cs bag too.
And Mac is still asleep!12 -
Been out all day, but after I came back I cleared the window sill in the kitchen, which seemed to lead to getting rid of some other related things. Basically I did a full declutter of it by taking everything off and questioning whether I actually wanted anything on there at all. Thinking of doing this for one area a day in July (possibly not weekends), although I will need to pick 1 drawer, 1 shelf etc as I'll get overwhelmed if the area is too large. The usual decluttering as I come across things will still continue as well.I can't count everything in for the kids as it's too hard to keep track of all the random paperwork floating about, but I will try and keep track for July of the main things coming into the house (going to ignore things the kids buy themselves).Digital:

Hello lovely people - I’ve missed you!
the weeks have zoomed by and although I don’t have any appointments with the mental health team I am actually feeling a bit better. I’ve been using apps and things and it’s all helping. Just as well as my dad has been in hospital with diverticulitis and pneumonia, work has been “interesting”, mum has been……mum.
then in the past few days we found out SD is being investigated for throat cancer, mum tripped over the garden hose, she broke 2 ribs and a scan showed something on her kidneys (I think) that she is seeing an oncologist about.Cue major amounts of guilt…..😳 Trouble is they don’t live close to me so I can’t just pop in.
However I am telling myself there is nothing I can do about any of it right now so worrying won’t help.
garden is still a major buffet for slugs and nasty bugs so rather than try any new plants I will tidy and trim and feed as I go along…..and if any new plants do happen to leap into a trolley they will be slug resistant or will have white flowers.
been out for a couple of meals with hubby which have been lovely!
Will update signature with decluttered stuff and do a new post for that.

Well I couldn't quite leave it there, so managed to scrape my way to 13,000 items. As we are halfway through the year, this means with the same level of decluttering I would get to 26,000 items for the year. Last year I got to 40,000 items and halfway through the year had 18,108 items decluttered. I am hoping this means that I am slowly winning as I am definitely putting in the same amount of effort as last year, so logically there must be less to declutter. Hoping it tails right off next year!Digital:

@Soontobeoap: thank you for the pic! That is really helpful and looks lovely too! Very effective from a distance!
Am using up my wool stash whilst watching the Euros tonight. One square finished another started.
In a follow.up to my earlier post(s), I gave up waiting for Mac to wake up! Instead I sorted my things for work tomorrow and worked out what I need to do with my pile of things to be backed/finished off. Not too bad on further inspection, I need to back two hoop frames, buy a stand for another project that is finished already (just needs a permanent home), and buy a mount for the fourth.
I also repaired one of my needleminders that was broken - the other one I thought was broken actually wasn't so I've put that with the others on the draw unit 😄
After doing all that came back downstairs and 20 mins later Mac woke up! So have decluttered his hutch, hoovered the lr, taken a shower and just had dinner. More crochet and the ESP v GEO game now.

I've been in main wardrobe yesterday and today. Sorting, trying on, repairing odd bits buttons and holes, some stuff washed and almost dried so there's still some more to go in but everything has been tried on and fits and I like it. I like to organise by sleeve length as that generally denotes how hot it is outside soo dictates what I want to wear. From left to right dresses, tops, trousers, outerwear. I mainly live in tshirts and colourful cottony trousers, t shirt and jeans if leaving the house, but I seem to usually wear my grotty stuff and keep everything else 'for good'.
I've still got the tshirts drawer, jumpers and skirts to go through so I might chuck the oldest tshirts that have been on heaviest rotation over the last couple of years and try wearing more of my 'good' stuff. What puts me off that stuff if I'm just going to be around the house, is a lot is hand wash cold water as it loses prodigious amounts of dyes being hand dyed Indian cotton type stuff. I feel if im going to that bother it should be worthwhile wearing the stuff lol. I often cant be bothered hand washing and although some of it is fine in select machine programmes, it takes a while to build up enough to warrant a machine wash.
Heres a before/during and after if you'd like to see

Ps I've discovered I seem to REALLY like blue and white pattern tops lol. Thinned them out a bit22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈 Never save something for a special occasion. When I went to SA last night for the food delivery - I realised that I was meant to be getting flowers for a Church member. I rushed to Asd. while Mr F started to take in the M & S food.
On my way back from the shop - I met 2 Ukrainian ladies who wanted to water the front flower beds.
Church this morning - C comes back to work tomorrow.
One of the Church members is 90 tomorrow so we are doing a High Tea Party - I am baking cakes tomorrow morning.
