crazybunnylady4 said:Sewing boxes next...managed to find and collate all six of my darning needles (4 x plastic and 2 x metal) that seem to walk all over the house and I can never find when I need one!
They have all been reunited at last! 🤣
Some bits and bobs had no clue what they were- DMum didn't know either so they have been binned.
She has however pilfed a couple replacement bits for her sewing machine and some elastic and bias binding I had left over 🤣
All my needleminders (I'm a bit of a hoarder- uhm I mean collector) have been put on the front of the draw unit so I can have the pleasure of them. One broken so binned, two need the magnets gluing back on them so they have been put to one side.
Other decluttering:
Binned:
Old all purpose glue (dried up)
Old iron on motif
2 x bent pins
Recycled:
Random plastic and cardboard tat and/or packaging
Cs bag
2 x plastic bobbins
Iron on motif (in original wrap)
Fabric tape measure (I have 4 others lol)
Actually have managed to declutter so much I was able to get rid of the larger sewing box!Repurposed a wooden box I had all my washi tape in for the overs; kinda thinking it might look good covered in buttons 🤔🤣
The washi tape will instead be stored in a different tin and go on my desk for scrapbooking.2025 decluttering: 3,235🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

I think I had a 24 hour bug as I have been in bed since yesterday afternoon on and off. I took paracetamol and then ibuprofen and I feel okay when I woke up about 9 this morning. I thought I might have picked something up at the concert as I usually get ill when I go into central London now.
I'm glad I feel alright as I have another concert tonight, an outdoor one at a park. It is thankfully much cooler today so I might take a blanket to sit on and a warmer top with me. My dog has just been decluttered to the kennel (we give them so much business!) and my Amazon order arrived at the same time. I need to go and wash our sandals (that we use to go out to the garden) as I haven't given them a deep clean in a while.
I was going to go out for lunch today, but I thought I would cook at home instead as I am trying to eat through my pantry. I am going to take everything out of the pantry and see if anything is out of date and tidy everything up. I am going to make a tomato pasta sauce and batch cook the spaghetti today for a few easy lunches. I froze some cherry tomatoes that looked like they might go off soon so I will throw them in the sauce too.
I might watch some more of the show The Boys before we go out. Looking outside at the clouds I think I might take the umbrella with us just in case!

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Mini Mission in May
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Ashamed to say I am back to my old habits 😔 must try harder. I got up at 10:50 put on a dressing gown & came down for a cuppa. Although I have at least put in the first load of washing 😉 it is rather overcast but still warm 19C already & there is not a breath of air. Last night aka in the early hours of this morning I dealt with about half my post + I mended a hole in DH’s base layer trousers before adding them to the washing pile 😅 Today the plan is to deal with the rest of the post + fill in my voting papers. Forgot to mention that DSis has given me an ancient top to repair - several holes & the neck line & hem line are very frayed + she wants me to take up two pairs of trousers. Now for some cheerleading 😉
Excellent decluttering & tidying of your craft stash, crazybunnylady4 👏 From your description of what you decluttered it sounds like you have tried your hand at a great many different types of crafting 🤩 Any chance of a couple of pictures of some of your crafting projects 🙏
GrannyKate, I hope it wasn’t too hot for your lunch out on Wednesday 🤞either that or you had ordered something light 😉 Excellent decluttering & well done on dealing with so many frogs 👏 A medal 🏅 is on the way for dealing with frogs 😊 Now that you have decided to not think about house buying/selling, I hope you can turn your full attention to enjoying your holiday 😊 Having a couple of days relaxing before you fly sounds like a great idea so you can fully enjoy your time away 🥳
Liverpool_Anne, more great cheerleading 👏 I imagine it was a great & different experience living & working in Kuwait 🤩 It does sound like you have quite the collection of trainers 😅 I really love the idea that all your odd shoes are now with their partners 😂 Some great quality decluttering 👏 which is often, from my perspective at least, more satisfying than quantity 😊
crazybunnylady4, that reminds me that I need to sort out our holiday wash bag as I just shoved it in my wardrobe without sorting it 😔 Excellent decluttering & well done on getting all your washing done 👏
Soontobeoap some great ideas for using up large supplies of buttons 😊 I think I would like to join the children’s button art session. A turtle sounds right up my street 😁
Florenceem, another busy day & I hope the sale goes well 😊 Fingers crossed that you & MrF will soon get all the results & the doctor will start a treatment plan that will see MrF on the road to recovery 🤞
weenancy, more great ideas for using buttons & ribbon 😊
Excellent decluttering TC77 👏 Good luck with your eating healthier & gym work 🍀 It sounds like it is already making a difference 😊 Hope DD1 is doing better & is on the road to recovery 🙏
Kept dozing off, so not as much cheerleading as I should have managed 🙊 Two loads of washing done - 1.5 loads hung out on the whirligig & the other half load (undies etc) are in td. Hope everyone is having a good day with slightly cooler weather 🙂

Been at SA from 9 - 3 getting ready for tomorrow's table top sale.

Still very much behind on the decluttering and tidying, but I did parcel up two boxes for DH to take to charity, so those are out of my way now. Also did start doing a bit of tidying, so things are slightly improving. Tons to do, but work is so awful (no one will talk to me now), that it was really depressing. So I took a long lunch to do some relaxing baking and then did a bit more when the kids came back. The TLC carriage is now fully stocked with hm organic hummus (with a range of cucumber, peppers and carrot sticks), hm organic Eton Mess with raspberries and strawberries, hm organic pesto from carrot tops, hm organic vanilla ice cream and hm organic banana and chocolate chip bread.I am now relaxing with a glass of wine and will cook the adult dinner once DD is in bed (hm pesto with pasta, broad beans and courgette). I definitely earned the wine this week! Tomorrow is another day and I'm sure I'll find more to declutter.Digital:

Busy day cleaning and tidying between school runs. Thanks for the medal Mrs SD. Viewings went well but no feedback yet. Day to myself tomorrow to get packed and sorted for holiday. A few paperwork frogs to do as well.
