@vulpix - I am so sorry, I only today have heard of bit-by-bit's passing thanks to @-taff 's post . It must have happened when I wan't on the thread much because of my eyesight. Please accept my very belated condolences. 💐 - I remember thinking how lovely it was that you two formed a friendship through this thread. x

Mr F took a trolley of stuff to the charity shop this morning.
I popped to SA - someone dropped off bags of food - 60% of it was OOD - one item was 2015.
We had lunch and he has gone out again with another trolley load of stuff - this time - toys from my sister, craft books and a big bag of packets of seeds.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Mini Mission in May
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Well I obviously needed the sleep, as I woke up 12:30 & did Not have a headache which is what usually happens after going back to bed 😉 I have my cuppa & am all settled & raring to go. DH is currently in the garage zizzing scraps for the worms & DSis is out there ‘supervising’ 😉
crazybunnylady4, now that you & your DM are part of the family & have embarked on your decluttering journey, you might feel inspired to resume your crafting 😊 especially as that will count as decluttering 😉 Some great work already by both you & DM 👏 I am also a member of the ‘slouchy/comfy fit’ club when it comes to tops 😊
Just as I was settling down to the cheerleading, DH came up with his plan for the afternoon 😉 He has decided to sort out the shed - sort of 😉 Rather than empty completely (rain has been forecast) he is working his way through from the door - making decisions as he goes along - ably assisted by my DSis 😊 I spent 20 minutes with them making decisions & have now returned to the cheerleading 😅
QueenJess, I agree with vulpix “I hope you can turn your job around into something you can work with.” Now you just have to get your boss to put the solutions in writing so that you can make an informed decision - good luck 🍀 Hopefully today is an easier, more productive & successful day 🤞
Well said vulpix 😊 Hopefully the hospice will have some ideas that will help MrV 🙏 as 9 months is rather a long time to be in limbo 😔 You had a very busy day yesterday & got a lot done 👏 so I hope that today is at least a bit quieter 😊 Some lovely treasures from your Mum 😊 so fingers crossed that you will post a photo of the duck & owl as they sound lovely 🤞
Lovely post TC77 😊 & thank you for sharing 👏
dND, sorry to hear that RL is bringing you down 😔 Lots of cwtches coming your way & do pop into the TLC Carriage 🙏 Our bar staff have prepared a big jug of Pimms 😉 Thanks for the information about the book 👏
Nice to see you tiddles 👋
TC77, every little helps - now 875 👏
crazybunnylady4, decluttering the rabbits litter tray definitely counts 👏 Sorry to hear that your rabbit was so stressed 😣 although hopefully he has fully recovered now 😊
Liverpool_Anne sounds like everyone is having a great time 😊 Beautiful pictures especially the hawk 😊 What a magnificent creature 🤩
~FlowerPot~, lovely to see you 👋 Pleased to hear that your DD has finished all her GCSE exams 😊 Keeping everything crossed for some great results 🤞 What a lovely surprise that DD turned words into actions & has decluttered her room 👏 I am awarding her a medal 🏅 & long may her desire to have a tidier room continue 😊 Hope you have a lovely holiday ☺️
Lovely post daisy_1571 & some great ideas for ~FlowerPot~ 👏
-taff, nice to see you back 👋 A lovely supportive post 😊 I do have to disagree that posting is procrastinating - more like getting all your ducks in a row & setting out your stall for the next couple of months 🥳
I have decided to stop now as my concentration has decided it has had enough for the time being 😉 DH & DSis have finished sorting, tidying & moving stuff from the shed to the garage & vice versa + there was even enough space in the shed for the sacks of bird food that were delivered 30 minutes ago 🥳 Just in time as it turns out as it has turned rather dark & windy & has just started raining (15:10) 😮💨

Cute bunny!
I went to the consulation for my minor surgery on my finger today and as I was early the doctor said he could do it there and then. I asked if it would hurt and he said cheerfully "The injection will" and it really did. At least that is out of the way, even though he said the cyst has an 80% chance of coming back!
I have been decluttering kitchen stuff the past few days, but that will have to wait now until my finger is better. He said the bandage can come off in 48 hours.2025 GOALS

Ouchy!! I suggest you borrow the bunny and let it cuddle the sore finger a bit. A quick check in. I wrote a list of things to do - most have been very frustrating so far. I managed to get eye appointment and new glasses ordered. They managed to fix my old pair and I will have them as spares as long as they last as prescription unchanged. Went to a different place and half the price. Tried to book chiropodist before my holiday in July but have to wait until afterwards. Wasted considerable time arguing with dishwasher company about my extended warranty (they couldn't find it although I had all the paperwork) - they eventually conceded it was valid today but no closer to getting a repair date. I have several more things on my list but taking them one at a time.

614 New glasses ordered
615 Meeting organised and papers printed out - need to follow up

617 Chipped dish binned

I have found some more vintage tins of buttons. They are going to the charity shop tomorrow. I think this one is 1970s.
