Well the minimalist life is a lot simpler🤣
certainly cuts down on the washing up…one plate one mug!
managed to rehome a 3’ fir tree which had grown and grown from being a little 4” Christmas decoration a few years ago. Popped it on the local FB page and claimed in 10 minutes. I’d left it out the front and I’ve just checked and it’s away. Refilled the planter with some RTC bedding plants for a bit of colour. I hadn’t been going to bother with bedding plants as I was moving…but now I’m not!Trying to keep positive as not really any other option! I can’t change what’s happened.13 -

Mr F did make two trips into town with stuff for the charity shops yesterday.
We went to SA in the evening to receive the food delivery. While there our Ukrainian friends who had been on a coach trip arrived back and wanted to use the toilets so we were out longer than planned.
Church this morning and there is a cafe Church service this afternoon.
I hope to get more stuff sorted between services ready for the charity shop on Monday.
Mr F has audio appointments this week so has been using drops in his ears to soften wax ahead of micro suction. The drops have made his hearing worse and it was already very bad. He will have the micro suction one day and the next day is a hearing test.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

That is all so far. The good news about laser eye surgery is that the surgeon was impressed with how my eye had reacted to treatment that I needed less work this time and he left the middle of my eye alone as I drive and this would affect my peripheral vision.Declutter 2025 in 2025 0/202512 -
Morning all. Finished the washing after my trip away. DGS4 got very wet one day and I left his clothes in the bath at B & B - when I came back at tea time they had washed and dried them for me. Norfolk was lovely and it was good to see so many familiar places. I can recommend ROARR at Lenwade for anyone with dinosaur mad children. Everything was included in entrance fee except refreshments and we stayed 6.5 hours. We put flowers on my parents grave and had a quick look at sea but it was wet and windy most of the time.
597 Banking done for May
598 Shredding
599-608 Awarding myself 10 points for random collection of frogs eaten up this morning - including agendas, setting up email groups and responding to numerous emails etc.
609 At least ten items put away
610 DGS4 - old slip ons in CS bag - new ones bought on holiday
611 Some loaf tin liners in CS bag
DS2 seems to be in tidying and cleaning mode so I will let him get on with it.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Out, for the chazzer. A fair size plastic container/storage thing. New from MIL. Kept it and still can’t find a use for it.
In, gifted a new tea towel.
Knitted another 2 baby jumpers. That's 4 recently, I think I will send a couple of them to the charity shop. They sell hand knits like hot cakes. Grandbaby Vulpix must have a different jumper for every day of the year by now. DIL claims to love them but I don't want her to be secretly dreading yet another jumper.
Sadly the gardening lad isn't local. I need to just make a start on the new garden and eat that elephant one bite at a time.
Love your little Robin chicks Brie. We had a Mum and Dad and a massive baby at my old work. The poor parents were constantly feeding their massive sprog. They were very tame and very quickly ate from your hand.
Chocolate drinker, that is one impressive list. laser shots. I am so squeamish.
3 loads of washing line dried yesterday. Now to put it all away and empty the suitcases see rare attached pic of Fluffy with partially open eyes. I will then knock up some veg soup and make a quorn bolognese for later. Painting calls.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Mini Mission in May
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Apologies for not posting last night but DH was rather unwell 🤒 DSis headed off for her hairdressing appointment at 14:15 & DH was happily watching MotoGP qualifying & I was knitting. About 15:30 DH called down - he had been bending down looking for something in his filing cabinets when he had a dizzy spell & started feeling nauseous as well as sweating profusely. At first we thought it was his heart BUT his smart watch gave no indications that it was 😮💨 but of course this meant we couldn’t explain it 😪 I then remembered the risotto from Thursday night - DH was the only one who ate all of it - DSis & I only had a few mouthfuls before throwing it out for the pigeons. I investigated food poisoning & the symptoms fit so it appears that I had inadvertently ‘poisoned’ my DH 😱 Several episodes of the retching type of vomiting over the next couple of hours & more sweating, dizziness & very unsteady on his feet so stayed sitting + water tasted of disinfectant. As he was feeling a bit better - the sweating had stopped - he decided that a cup of coffee was in order. Big mistake - made the vomiting worse. Anyway long story short he finally managed to make it to bed & slept for a couple of hours until about 20:00. I added a blanket to the bed as by this time he had started feeling cold. A couple of hours later he safely managed to come downstairs & threw his waste paper bin in the wheelie bin 🤢 Had a glass of water - tasted OK & went back to bed. Sunday & DH is steady on his feet, the nausea & dizziness are gone but he feels washed out & slightly dehydrated. Currently watching the MotoGP races & has managed to drink a glass of water & a small cup of coffee with no ill effects 😮💨 The unfortunate thing is that the 3 of us were supposed to be attending his niece’s 60th birthday lunch in Kent today 😔 - it was going to be my first trip out in the car 😉 To say that DH & I are both relieved is an understatement……
870 - 872 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, booklet - recycled
