@Liverpool_Anne this is the challenge. Tomatoes go in everything in this house, they are the equivalent of a culinary security blanket!  Everything is fine as long as I have tinned chopped toms (much to everyone’s hilarity during lockdown) I was experiencing mild anxiety earlier this week as there was only one tin in the cupboard!

Fortunately he’s already knocked a lot of things out of his diet naturally. It’s almost like his kidneys were telling him to avoid them.

I'm playing a little game with myself to see if I can find 5 things to get rid of in every room in the house.  Upstairs is done and it is scarily easy... clearly I have more decluttering left to do than I thought.  Will see if I can do downstairs later (which I think will be a bit harder).

little robin fledglings are decluttering themselves from their nest in the carport.  think there's only 1 left to worry about and then we can go back to getting rid of the paint tins and other bumpf out there.

How did the weekend arrive so quickly? So today I vacuumed the library and also vac packed a mattress topper. I did misbehave and got from ebay 2 lovely dresses for the summer each less than £10, one is Boden and the other is a Jaeger wrap round. 
Did some washing and put it out for awhile now its on the airer to finish off. Now I'm going to have a lazy evening watching TV.

My gift to myself arrived and I have been trying to get it working. I bought myself a smart watch. Mr F has offered to pay for it as an early Birthday present.

I had a quick read of all the posts.  Returned from a lovely short break with DGS4 to Norfolk.  Lovely B&B but torrential rain.  Will catch up tomorrow

Sadly got distracted with computer issues so didn't finish, but nearly did every room.  Was quite interesting as you automatically look for the easy wins when you need to find 5 items in each room and it's enlightening as you realise where the problem areas are that you need to revisit.  Done for today as I'm too tired now, but contemplating my next move and where to go next or to just continue a tiny bit in each room.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Mini Mission in May

2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m 

3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis

4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter

6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

DH had a bath instead of going shopping 😉 & has decided to go shopping tomorrow instead 🙂 So far I have done a third of the next planned bit of embroidery & yes I did have to put the light on 😉 2nd third completed 🙂 Last 5 letters completed + a small decorative flourish in each corner 😊 Dinner was fish in breadcrumbs, chips or fries & peas. Wudupa. After dinner I did a bit more embroidery & watched the last BGT semifinal - quite disappointing

Fell asleep on the sofa & woke up just gone 5:00 so will post & get to bed.

Good morning.  I've not posted since the 20th but have been reading along. Hugs to all who need them.
It's been busy here. The 5 tonnes of soil wasn't enough so another 3 was needed. Then the sand on top. But it's finally done (that tiny bit, still a long way to go) and the pool is up and the heater went on yesterday. Watching the electric go up is scary but once it warms up it doesn't use as much. As we aren't having a holiday the extra electric money will come out of the holiday fund.
Then this week we seem to have become short term Foster for DD3s friend and I've been trying to sort and tidy and make room. It's going to be a busy week when they're all back at school this week as her friend moved away last September so is at a different school. 
I'm sure I'm missing a lot from the list as a lot of this is still from the stationary sort out. There will probably be a lot more over the next couple of days as we make room for an extra bed (can't leave her on an air bed longer term)
