QueenJess, you might have less time now you are back to work But you are still decluttering for England 👏
Brie, good luck with your kitchen cupboards sort out 🍀 I had a quick google about barley flakes - apparently good for clearing algae from ponds 😉 So now I am wondering if you have a garden pond 🤔
Floss, I think our bullet train is equipped with a ‘Warp Drive’ 😂
EnergyShifter, pleased to see that you managed to leave the TLC Carriage on Thursday 🙂 Well done on persuading DS to help you fill the Hippo bag - sounds like you enjoyed it - you got fresh air, some exercise, satisfied your desire to declutter & then rewarded yourself with a shower & some pottering 😊 & on top of all that you had a brainwave 👏 All in all an excellent day 🥳
TC77, hopefully other members of the declutterati will have some suggestions re kitchen appliances 🤞 as sadly I have none 😉
Welcome back Dfw38 👋 and a Happy New Year to you too 🥳 Good news that your Dad’s house was sold in November & all the siblings are still talking to each other 😊😅 I have made a note of your targets for 2024 & can see that you are already off to a flying start 👏🤩 I love the idea of Frog Freeing February 😊
Lovely steady decluttering FlacosFloozie 👏
Lovely to see you Pennypincin 👋 No apology needed - just pleased that you have managed to get aboard 😊 An excellent start to your decluttering & what a useful WhatsApp 👏
Floss, thanks for replying to TC77’s question 👏
JingsMyBucket, I am always so happy when there is another declutterer in the house 😊 Although it sounds like you & Mr. Jings have two totally different ‘Styles’ when it comes to decluttering, from initial perception the 2 styles seem to complement each other 🤞👏 You also seem to be getting on really well with the 10 minute sessions 😊 Fingers crossed that the ‘anxious hives’ stay well away 🤞😉
pixtotts, target noted & what a great start 👏 Way too cold to be trying on clothes & sorting wardrobes 😉 Hope you are enjoying your weekend 😊
No worries ilovetea 😊 You need to be in a particular frame of mind when it comes to tackling ‘Cupboards or Rooms of Doom’ 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏 Don’t you just love the rigmarole of unsubscribing 😂
charlies_tribe, hopefully as you work through your digital decluttering the daily inflow will lessen 🤞Excellent work on the 3 storage boxes 👏 & lovely to see that you are making good progress on both your categories 😊
Excellent progress sorting the music sheets DundeeDoll 👏 Your 24 minutes a day is working really well 😊 Perhaps once you have the pile of your friend’s music sheets, you can start planning a visit to America 😉 After all it would be lovely to see him 😊
bamboo_socks, that sounds like a lovely day 😊 & well done on resisting so much temptation 👏
Another page caught up 🙂 Everyone is doing so well 👏 DH made an excellent job of the fence repair - I was suitably impressed 😉

You have been busy Deni_debt-free_dreamer 👏 Some excellent decluttering & how great that your XMas stuff has already been collected 🥳 URGENT - submit invoice for work done 😉😅
Excellent & eclectic decluttering Florafauna 👏
TC77, not sounding flaky at all, just slightly overwhelmed 😔 I am another who gets really confused with cables for gadgets 😳 It doesn’t help that DH has them scattered all over the place & has at least 2 crates worth in his office & I am convinced there is probably another crate in the loft or garage or heaven forfend both 😧 Fingers crossed that the large cabinet has already been collected 🤞Great decluttering & your numbers are moving along nicely 👏
Great work Brambling - 4 of 4 ‘24 minute decluttering sessions’ 👏 Hopefully the bag is in the car 🤞you know you want it gone 😂
You are definitely “in the zone” shabbychic12 🥳 Some excellent decluttering 👏 The age old conundrum - “do I finish this task or do I get distracted”? 😉 Unfortunately I don’t have the answer as I thought you were writing about me 🤣
vulpix, talk about minimalist kitchen gadgets 🤩 I not only have my own but a few of DSis’s - no wonder I have no room in any of my kitchen cupboards 🙊 Sorry to hear that you are still in the TLC Carriage although it would appear you managed to get out & do an excellent job of decluttering your under-stairs cupboard 👏 + doing the laundry & using up all your vegetables 🤩 Are you sure you have been in the TLC Carriage 🤨 Hope DD & her bf have recovered from such an horrendous ferry trip 🙏
Just stopped my timer & had a mini break. Read an article in this weeks Take a Break called “How to Beat The Attention Crisis” There are 5 steps of which I am doing 3 at the moment. I still need to work on my diet & my sleep 😉 Just noticed that it has started drizzling & there was me thinking today would be a completely dry day 😂
Anyway back to monotasking 😉
Liverpool_Anne, sorry to hear that OH was still testing positive yesterday 😔 Kudos to you for not going into ln’s house 😇 Hmm, OH is determined to sabotage your attempts to empty & defrost the freezer 🥲 Thanks for the very useful observations about kitchen appliances 👏 & Well done on keeping your decluttering numbers ticking along 👏
TC77, I understand your confusion about cooking appliances - we are spoilt for choice & are in danger of overload 😳 The gadget I want has yet to be invented other than in TV programmes like Star Trek Voyager 🤣 Excellent decluttering 👏 & hope the weather stayed fine enough for your visit to the CS 🤞
Another page done - shame it has taken me so long to realise that monotasking & sitting at the table results in quicker cheerleading 🤣

I'm back again, that's twice in one week ! All the decorations are down but have only made it as far as into boxes and up to the spare bedroom, they'll be put away in a cupboard till next xmas, probably tomorrow now. I did 2 loads in the wm too so the basket is empty.
Out today a broken plastic takeaway tub and lid, an empty Ba*leys bottle, the last of the liquid was thrown out as OOD. 5 mini flavoured gin bottles gone too and the dregs thrown down the sink, they haven't been touched since DD bought a stack of them for DH as a xmas present 2 years ago....... and they both got rather merry on Boxing Night ! 🤣
Gone into the recycling the TV mag, xmas edition and now OOD, the last of our cards, 2 cardboard savoury biscuit tubs, plus their plastic lids as they both only contained crumbs. A choc biscuits box has hit the recycling bag and the contents have been emptied into the biscuit tin.
Take care all and happy decluttering no matter how slowly it goes.

I love how proactive we all are so early in the year!
I did count what was in the chazza box in the end, and we just delivered it to Cancer Research, and I've signed up for a Gift Aid card. Every little helps!
As well as the toys, DVDs and comics mentioned earlier , there were 8 cookery and fiction books, 15 items of clothing, a typewriter and a mini sewing machine. Hope someone else can make use of that!Home improvement payments 90.6% to go

My fellow declutterati, quite a few of you have expressed concern that I am spending so much time cheerleading. However, I would like to put your minds at rest by explaining that for the last couple of years I have been mulling over how to make my cheerleading more efficient & have FINALLY come up with a system that will work 😁 Although I had not quite grasped how long it would take to set up 😉, I am very excited as it is already starting to work 🥳 So no more scraps of paper, just smooth & efficient cheerleading. Once set up, I will get back to some proper decluttering including dispensing with some rather large Frogs 😊 Thank you all for your kindness 👏 with Cwtches 🤗 & 💐 for all
Timer is on for a mini session of 24 minutes 😉
Brambling, thank you so much for such a succinct & easy to understand explanation of the 15 to 1 multicooker 👏 I am almost tempted…………. although for the time being I will resist 😉
Moorviews, you devil you - having a lie-in 😊 & being lucky enough to have some sunshine 🤩 The ‘decluttering bug’ seems to be as contagious as the current iterations of both Covid & flu/cold viruses 😉 but at least it is a friendly & useful bug 😅 At the rate everyone is going we will all feel so ‘light & free’ that we will float away 😂 Ah, other generations of family possessions stored in lofts & cellars bring its own unique challenges - sentimental as well as financial/practical 😔 However, with all the building up of Decluttering Muscles it should be easier than if none of your own decluttering had been done 🤞🙏 It might be a slow start to your 2024 Decluttering journey But you have decluttered one of the more important tasks of the year - getting the car through its MOT 👏 🥳 Like you I am “looking forward to giving the fridges a good clean” 😉 necessary or not 😂
Siebrie, not sure I could ever be that brave - but having said that what a great idea 😊
Timer has just gone off, so mini session done 👍

I've put my C-mas cards & wrapping paper in the recycling plus shredded lots more notes that also went in the recycling - in empty cat food boxes
Put all decorations away and labelled the boxes for better organisation next time
Put a few things in the CS bag but won't count them till delivered ...
