Excellent decluttering JingsMyBucket (especially the work one 😉) 👏
Excellent decluttering ilovetea 👏 I see that it is not only the EDT that is supersonic 😉
Brambling, tut tut - you did at least 24 minutes on Wednesday 👏
Welcome aboard the 2024 EDT pixtotts 👋 Please don’t stress about setting a goal 🙏 You have made an excellent start - 3 items sold 👏 & sounds like there is potential for more sales 🤞
Great work DundeeDoll 👏
Excellent work Florafauna 👏 You are certainly getting to grips with your decluttering 😊 If I hadn’t been so far behind with the cheerleading, you might have had extra visitors for a plateful of macaroni cheese 😂
Great decluttering charlies_tribe, especially the digital decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed that the dog forgives you for binning his XMas jumper 🤞😉
TC77, great work making progress with frogs both large & small + the digital decluttering 👏 Hopefully you can get your dad’s DVD collection tidied away quickly once the double set of drawers has been emptied & moved 🤞Very, very sneaky of your neighbour 🤨 Remember No More Wombling 😉
Liverpool_Anne, I think you should spend some more time in the TLC Carriage as you are still recovering 😊 If you can continue with the longer sleeps & naps you will soon get your sleep pattern back into sync 😉 Much as it is lovely that OH wants to cook, it must be very tiring having to keep explaining that you want to empty & defrost the freezer, not fill it to bursting 😔
Now, now ruby_eskimo ‘wagging finger emoji’ - a one in & several to go out + a tidy & decluttered drawer is a great start to your 2024 Decluttering Campaign 👏
Of course you can join us TheEmerald 😊 I apologise for the delay but you have now been ‘scooped up’ or more likely ‘beamed aboard’ the 2024 EDT & are safely settled in the buffet car with a cuppa chatting to your new family aka the declutterati 😊 I have noted your target & am looking forward to the start of your ‘Fling the Frogs Campaign’ 😊 I am also congratulating you on finding us 👏 2024 is your year to banish the clutter & silence the frogs 🥳
GrannyKate, yippee to the end of your cold 🥳 Perfect timing for your 5 days to yourself 😊 Everything crossed that DS2’s legal & ex-work issue resolution leads to all the cash he is owed being safely in his account very soon 🤞Although it is good news that the car passed it’s MOT, not such good news that new brakes & tyres will soon be needed 😔 Some great & eclectic decluttering 👏
Another 3 x 24m of cheerleading done 🙂 and DH is up 🥳

A hour spent on the phone yesterday lunch with a pension advisor (pension wise so my free session) a bit of my financial frog ticked off. I watched TV and shredded some paperwork last night

Spent the day in the TLC carriage yesterday but had a little more energy this morning. Finished taking the Christmas Decorations down - leaving the lights up of course. Put the decorations back in the loft and while I was up there identified a few more things to go.
I'm most pleased to let go of some training manuals from a course that I was hired to deliver before Covid. I'd been waiting literally years to be taken on as an Associate then everything went pear shaped with lock-down so it never happened. There was a big re-jig in the company who hired me and things didn't work out. Their communication was pretty poor during the process and I was left hanging for ages... It felt really good to finally get rid of the manuals - closure....Tasks

Vulpix - I can really relate to finding "maintenance mode" a bit boring. I enjoyed decluttering so much it became like a therapeutic practice 😂.

A shorter post this time, as I am about to have a bowl of hm soup 😋 DH is currently strengthening the fence panel prior to slotting it back in 👏 although he had informed me yesterday that he was going to tackle his office 😂
daisy_1571, sounds like a great system for cataloging your DVDs 👏 and to get a 14” pile down to 4” is a phenomenal amount of decluttering 🤩
Crazycatlady2, at least with the steroid injection the elbow should stop hurting so much 🤞but please at least try to rest it 🙏 Great work decluttering jobs with the assistance of your DD 👏
Excellent decluttering flamingo747 👏 and you managed cleaning & shopping as well 👏
Of course you can join us Tallulah_Puddleduck 😊 Welcome aboard the EDT 👋 You have taken the first step on your Decluttering journey, the 2nd step is to declutter just one thing & then you are on your way to a clutter-free & tidy house 😊 I have noted your target & with your hard work & our encouragement I have no doubt that you will reach it 😊
Excellent decluttering Happy_Kitties especially the ongoing clearance of dog crunchies 👏
tiddles, revised target duly noted 😊 Excellent decluttering 👏 (2024 = 5.5 items per day) & you are already on 71 on 4th January 🤩
MadamMim2013, you have been going through the ringer 😔 You must be so glad to see the back of 2023 😮💨 You have made an excellent start to your 2024 Decluttering journey - 2 bags + a box of books for CS 👏 Hopefully your boys can help you get everything to the CS in one visit 🤞 Also sending a silent wish to the ‘gods of the NHS’ that your health issues can be identified & treated so that decluttering weight will not be quite so hard 🙏 Thank you so much for the 💐 and my Gold Star 🌟- added to signature already 😉

Here's an interesting and funny article about decluttering. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2024/jan/06/i-was-a-hopeless-hoarder-until-i-was-forced-to-throw-out-50-things-i-own

1/52 - so I've made a start. Actually this is one I started doing in 2023, clearing out a bench. I'm so glad I persevered. I am now happy that all bin, recycled, charity or rehomed items are where they should be.22

Freezer took 90mins of coercion to defrost. All cleared and sorted now. So much more room for the leftovers and reduced items that appear. And didn’t get round to sorting the wardrobe/clothes but did get rid of one pair of trousers. Plus touch up painted a wall on bathroom doors. 🎉 the satisfaction is immense!Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550
