Vulpix , sending hugs, and bit by bit and her family and you in my thoughts. I'm remembering following her ( and your journey) on here over the years and the love and inspiration that they've brought.11

Sad news, Vulpix. Thinking of you and Bit by Bit’s family. Think of the good times . Bon Courage.10

Thank you.
I am cross with myself. I should have tried to get in touch with her family sooner but didn't want to intrude on family time. Her daughter was not pleased to see us at the hospice, I don't know why. bit by bit had asked to see me and made us promise that we would go to her funeral when we left. I will go in my garden and think of her. She loved my garden and nature.

Gosh @vulpix, I'm sorry to hear that. Sitting in your garden feels like a lovely thing to do.I am firmly taking myself off to the TLC carriage. This cold from the kids just gets worse - I have my voice back, but my throat is very painful and I have a mild ear infection. So I am officially sat around this weekend, which I feel terrible about as I just want to spend time with the kids given I've been working so much recently. I know from experience though if I carry on through and don't rest, it will be an even slower recovery.A few bits and pieces I did declutter as I came across things:Digital:
1 - online account deleted
Physical:
1 - packaging (reused)
10 - paper, reused for work notes, then recycled
1 - kitchen clip (charity box - every time more than 5 appear in the drawer I put the spare in the charity box. I rarely need them these days as I top up most things from the zero waste shop and home bake everything, so it's limited to frozen peas and sweetcorn mainly)
1 - spare water bottle (Buy Nothing)New total = 7,424May mini kitchen declutter challenge = 18/25I know I often post big numbers on here, but don't be fooled into thinking this is all really easy for me. Yes, I am really quite ruthless these days and decluttering does get easier the more you do it, but I do still ponder for days or even weeks over certain areas or items. As you near the end especially you tend to be left with the harder, more time consuming things to deal with and as you see the same things everyday, it is sometimes hard to see what is needed and what is clutter (a holiday away is normally a good cure for the latter as you suddenly realise you have tons of stuff!)It's a good lesson and the best medicine to stop overbuying as the energy and time to get rid of stuff is so annoying! I try to buy very little these days unless I need something or in the odd case have wanted it for months and months (I add things to a wish list on my phone and usually wonder why I even had them on there later on). I also make sure anything I buy has longevity/is good quality (not necessarily expensive). Doesn't mean I always get it right though.Anyway, at the risk of waffling on, that spare water bottle wasn't a quick decision. It's an absolutely lovely, very high quality water bottle. I have another that is bigger and it is the one I use all the time because really the other one is too small. Makes it obvious to get rid of really, but it seemed a shame to get rid of and I kept thinking I would find a use for it and reminding myself that I really like it. I haven't found a use for it for years and really it is just sat in my cupboard wasting space and slowly degrading when it should be out there living its best lifeIf for some bizarre reason I suddenly find I need a small water bottle, then I will just buy one.
