@[Deleted User], echoing others for you to stay!
@Florenceem love the aprons... I haven't seen any nearly as nice in the shops! I will post a photo of my vintage ones.
@GrannyKate wishing you a quick recovery.
Made a list of frogs and half way through several, form for DD1, list of phone calls to make at lunchtime tomorrow, emails and some housework (not my interest of skill area except hoovering which I like and putting washing on, as you notice a big difference for relatively little effort).
Trews taken back.
Heavy bedspread that went to the laundrette now zipped away for the summer. weekend I've days out so will be trying to just tidy after work and try and carve out time the following weekend.

@Muddy_Walker, good luck. I don't know if you've been through it before, but happy for you to DM me and also know citizens advice are v good. They were going to give advice before tribunal and I would have spoken to them before hearing but felt OK doing it to this stage on my own helping dd.
Shouldn't be so tough for everyone.
You can also ask someone to write a supporting statement..11 -

The sun continued shining all day☀️ but there was a slightly chilly breeze. Since my previous post I did a bit of knitting, took in a package for DH & had a bit of lunch. I also left a couple of messages for my cousin R as I am ashamed to say that I have been rather remiss at keeping in touch 😔 I will try to contact her again tomorrow. DH phoned a second time - he was safely in his room & was about to have a shower & go down to dinner. Our dinner was spaghetti bolognaise 😋 Wudupa.
741 - 742 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
743 Kitchen detritus binned
nannywindow, no need to apologise for spending time in the TLC Carriage 😊 Sometimes that is the only place to be & now that we are touring Canada & the USA there is even more reason to stay aboard the EDT 😉 Sorry to hear about the rash, hopefully the lotions & potions are working 🤞At least with separate visits from the grandchildren you get a change to stock up 😅 Hope yesterday’s hospital appointment went well 🙏 Some great decluttering 👏 & hopefully today you managed to create enough space in your wardrobes to hang up your new clothes 😉 Sorry there were no pictures but I think the moderators would probably have deleted the post & put me on warning 😉
Excellent decluttering mhagster & I am especially impressed that you did not linger in the CS 👏
Some great decluttering ilovetea 👏 I am very happy that your first solo trip out since your fall went so well & that you are building up your confidence 😊 Wishing your DD great success with her decluttering 😊 & it will be so lovely to have her so much closer 😊
Lovely post vulpix 😊 The ‘what is the object quiz’ sounds brilliant 🤩 I am with daisy_1571 - it would have been great to be flummoxed 😉
weenancy, sorry to hear that Di is struggling to get financial help 😔 but I will everything crossed that the two groups that are assisting will get it sorted out quickly 🤞Any idea why older cat was racing around? Last thing you need is another injury 😔 Everything crossed that there is no fracture 🤞🙏 How about a picture of Whitley Bay, Tyne & Wear - no scantily clad young men but …..
Excellent decluttering in Di’s room, weenancy so I am sending you each a medal 🏅 🏅 Great work keeping up your habit of removing 3 things a day from the kitchen & now doing the same in the library-pantry room 👏 Sending positive thoughts that you get top price for anything & everything you sell 🙏
TC77, good luck dealing with your frogs 🍀 Well done on overcoming your reluctance/meanness by donating a bnwt item to CS 🥳 Hopefully this first item will encourage to donate other items…..but only if they don’t fit or they don’t suit you 😊
GrannyKate sorry to hear that you have cluttered a head cold to go with the sore knees 😔 Excellent decluttering 👏 & good luck with the cleaning 🍀
London_1, your DGD’s Games Nights sound perfect especially having an honorary chap 😊 as they wouldn’t want to be perceived as sexist 😅 Hope you had a lovely time with eldest DD 😊 Excellent decluttering of the binders 👏 Time is definitely racing along - but it does sound like you are on track to move at the end of the month 😊
Having just woken up after falling asleep on the sofa, I will post this & head to bed.

Morning all. Bank Holidays confuse me so I forgot bins. Ran after them with garden bin but too late for cardboard/plastics bin although it's only half full.
Cold not too bad and sore knees are better. Thanks for the good wishes. Cleaning was slow but I will get on with it today.
544 Filing done
545 At least 10 items put away
546 Hall and porch thoroughly cleaned and rearranged a bit
547 Both bathrooms cleaned and tidied. Tat binned
548 Shower stool which no-one uses and which gets in way will go for recycling at tip
549 Bedroom tidied and things put away. Nothing left to declutter really. I will get some boxes to pack the remaining 'photos etc in'. They will not get sorted before any move but I can label them now as all like with like.
Plan is take DGCs to school and come back and do lounge and dining room; go out to do a few jobs and take things to tip; small local shop; tidy garden a bit (put toys away); start kitchen tidy and clean. Will see how that goes.
Mrs SD the picture of Whitley bay brings back fond memories of late DH and I taking DGS4 to Northumberland - it was chucking it down with rain when we stopped at Whitley Bay. DH (already very ill so this was actually our last trip) sat in the cafe whilst DGS4 and I walked on a very wet and windy beach. That same cafe appeared in an episode of 'Vera' a few years ago.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Good Morning chums well I had a lovely time at Bluewater with DD and as an extra treat DGD Holly came along as well.
We roamed around John Lewis, and they helped me declutter £70 worth of vouchersIts the first time I've been there since before the pandemic so I had about £95 in vouchers to use up,I still have £25 left but I can use them in the Waitrose on the Island when I move.
We bought three identical mugs, so in the mornings we will all have our first cuppa in them and think about each other even though we are apart.
DGD thought this would be a nice way to cheer her Mum up a bit as she is down about me moving..I then bought DD a lovely bath sheet that she had been yearning for. I know she wanted it and I said when ever you use it think of it as a hug from meDGD Holly I treated in the Body Shop to some smellies she likes.
Tactical Mum move on my part as DD brightened up and I think is at last accepting that the move will be not only in my best interests as I am moving in with her sister, but I shall always have someone around yet, still be independent for a few more years hopefully
DGD Holly winked at me, as she had said to me the other day "Don't worry Nanny I'll work on Mum for you "
She's a good lass bless her, and she going off just before I move to see her brother Danny and family in NYC for a week.
She has had a sad couple of years as her marriage broke down and she lost her home and her OH cleared off with someone he had been cheating on her withshe was devastated as she adored him, but he was a bit of a womaniser and I don't doubt he will do it again.
But she's survived and is footloose and fancy free has got a beautiful flat now and its just her and her rescue dog who is the only male in her life at the moment . She loves her job as a teacher and life is much better for her now
I was so pleased that she came along last night and we had a good shop, and I treated them both to dinner at Bella Italia (I actually came home with half of my lasagne for lunch today as the portions are always too much for me ) I don't like wasting food at all even when I eat out.
When DD dropped me off home I decluttered some salmon fillets from my freezer to her and a garlic bread that was frozen as I don't think I'll have enough time left to eat all in the freezer.
Whats left I will give to my little neighbour as I know her two little girls will help eat it up. I want to defrost my freezer before I go as I am leaving it for my buyers along with the washing machine
I was up early today and tackled the bookcase in the spare room, and have packed two boxes with books, so only one shelf left to clear.
Just waiting now for all the solicitors to put it altogether, as both DD and my buyers have signed the contracts and returned them to their respective solicitors. so we are definitely hoping for the end of this month.
Have a good day chums I have a few bits to go to the charity shop this morning I think they have half my house alreadybut better than landfill.
Cheers the sunshine is so nice isn't it

Hello lovely people,
It's so nice to come here and catch up with all your news. I often think It's like colleagues at work. I missed them when I retired, just asking after their families and their ups and downs. You lot have been a highlight of my day fro the past couple of years. Thank you.
I couldn't go to sleep and woke early still churning things to be done around. The behemoth of a mattress is still in the back of the car and the china cabinet and dolls house is in DD1's car. We need to do another tip run with the bed head and foot board, a few tools and the curtains that no one would want. After the tip we need to load the dryer into the car.
This experience has made me even more determined to not leave a huge job like this for whoever clears our house. First I will spend a very long time in the tlc carriage then a very long time in my garden.

In bed at 11 last night and Mr F was sat on the edge putting cream on his legs - they get very dry wearing the compression stockings. I fell asleep - tired after busy time at SA - woke at 1am to find Mr F standing in the doorway and the bedroom light still on. He seemed very confused and it took me a while to get him to come to bed.
This morning I asked him if he remembers standing in the doorway and he said yes but doesn't know why he was doing it.
I have packed the trolley with stuff for the charity shop and done the washing.
Lovely day here.
Plan to finish the wip - 3 aprons this morning.

Good morning - yet another sunny bright day & the temperature is already 15C at 09:30 & forecast to rise to 23C by 16:00. Unfortunately although the binmen or should that be ‘waste operatives’ did come today they only emptied next door’s wheelie bin & disappointingly left all the black bin bags 😦 I popped out & refilled the wheelie bin but it will be weeks before all the bin bags are gone 😔
DSis is in the bath & I am in my dressing gown having my first cuppa.
QueenJess, sorry to hear that you were feeling so unwell on your day off & that your DH was being a bit of a “insert appropriate word” 😔 The last thing you need when you have lost your voice is for someone to keep asking questions 😠 However well done on fighting your way through & getting so much decluttering done 👏 The second half of your post provided some interesting reading & further insights into the psychology of decluttering 🧐 I will continue with the ‘looking back’ on your behalf 😉 & will try to remind you of the brilliant job you are doing 😊 I do remember ‘Project Freezer Clear Out’ so I am very pleased for you that you have managed to keep the contents down to 50% capacity 🤩 It is also lovely to hear that DS’s training is almost complete - just the tidying away of Lego to be instilled 😊
nannywindow, you might have gone down a rabbit hole but you have managed some excellent & copious decluttering 👏 Sending lots of get well wishes & hopefully you are getting lots of sunshine to help with ‘feeling better’ 🙏🤞
Excellent physical & digital decluttering short_bird 👏 and your new total of 1602 has seen you sail past the 3/4 point to your target SO a Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 😊
Florenceem, another busy Wednesday so I am pleased to hear that you managed to have a day indoors on Tuesday 😊 Shame about the food but it sounds like C probably does n’t have enough hours in the day to do everything 😔 Sorry to hear that MrF is struggling at the moment 😔 Btw - Lovely aprons 🙂
vulpix, that is absolutely stupendous work 🥳🤩 Hopefully all parties will do their part & collect items on time 🤞Woodcarving an elephant 🤩 your mum is a marvel 😊 Hopefully a long rest in the TLC Carriage will help your recovery 🙏 Just wondering if there is somewhere on MSE that can advise about ‘proof of identity’ paperwork 🤔 There must be quite a few people with no passport or driving licence 😔 who have encountered issues such as closing an account or selling a house 😔
daisythelab, please don’t leave 🙏 I agree with our fellow declutterati that all you have done is raise awareness of certain medical conditions & not once have you offered advice.
Excellent decluttering bamboo_socks, especially dropping off so many parcels 👏
DSis has finally vacated the bathroom 😉
As I am flagging, I will post this & come back later.
