I got a trolley of stuff ready yesterday morning for Mr F to take into town. He went off - 3 and a half hours later had not returned so I was worried. He was in the public toilet when the chap came to close them up. Mr F is stressing about his bowels - tmi I know.
I finished shortening my friend's net curtains in the afternoon.
I offered to take in last night's food delivery at SA - it was raining so a yuck night to go out in but never mind.
Today was SA friendship/lunch club - more donations had come in so I sorted them and got a lad to help me put away in the alley. My storage crates in the alley are full so it is back to making a stack and covering with a plastic sheet. When it has rained - it is not a nice job uncovering the bags - I have to try and stay dry when all the collected rain is running off the plastic sheet.
After doing that I went upstairs and emptied 2 large crates to sort into some kind of order. I want to have a couple of crates that are just for bric a brac and SA tables rather than have clothes, toys and shoes mixed in.
It was hot up on the balcony so lovely when it was lunch time - we had fish & chips + either salad leaves/coleslaw/salsa/baked beans followed by trifle or fruit.
After lunch I was tidying up when I heard someone throwing up - a chap with learning difficulties had not made it to the gents.
I went back to the sorting on the balcony before taking my shopping trolley full of stuff to the charity shops.
I feel rather tired now.
Mr F is out distributing posters for an upcoming SA band concert.

Hello all, today I have spent some time on the phone trying to sort out my missing meds and now have to ring back at 4pm for the outcome 🙄 GP surgery have said it's been sent to pharmacy and they in turn have denied all knowledge, so who knows who will win. I just want my meds thank you very much. Sorry rant over.
I changed the bedding this morning and put on my new deep fill sheet which fits perfectly on the new mattress, so the 2 king sized ones will be washed and put in the cs bag as they're in good condition and I haven't had them long. I shall hold off doing the washing as it's been a damp, grey day and we're due thunder storms later.
I challenged myself to go through the airing cupboard too, sadly only a holy bathmat wasn't put back, it was binned. My excuse is that DH was hovering over my shoulder and kept uttering that we could repurpose that, and that 😏. I'll have to do it again when he's not looking 😁
I filled the coffee pod holder and 4 cardboard boxes have been recycled as well as a plastic shower gel bottle and a hand wash bottle. In the glass recycling went a diffuser bottle and the sticks were binned.
Vulpix loving the upcycling pics, wish I were that clever and had your patience.
Wednesday good luck with the filling tomorrow.
MrsSD book me on the Canada trip, and anywhere else for that matter. I could do with getting away from the hospitals because the hotel break that DH booked for us is still 3 weeks away ! Loving the glass dome in the TLC carriage, not very conducive to making me leave though 😂
Bamboo good luck with the essay.
Weenancy well done on all the freebies from the fair.
Happy decluttering and hugs to all in need.

Hi, nanny, absolutely no skill involved in painting old furniture. It's quick and satisfying.
I think painting those items has saved them from landfill and helped out someone who genuinely has nothing. Car full of stuff delivered to the Ukranian lady. She was very pleased and I was very pleased to re home things that were perfectly ok but possibly a little old fashioned.
After that, back to Mum's and loaded up for the tip. On return from the tip.20 mile round trip, loaded up for the tip again but will go in the morning. Also 3 boxes in the car of stuff for the good chazzer tomorrow. Phoned the house clearance guy. He sent me some figures but I didn't understand some of it. Phoned and left a message. Phoned the furniture project, they are coming for the furniture that is not going to auction tomorrow afternoon. Phoned my builder who is going to put a lintel over a window. He is snowed under but it doesn't hurt to mither. Phoned the Estate Agent,he is coming next Wednesday. Oh phoned the scrap man,he is coming tomorrow time tba. Also had a row with Mr V about nothing and ate a load of ice cream that wasn't even nice. I feel so out of sorts I am in bed! I am so fed up of it all. The damn massive pine cupboard is still not empty, The under stair cupboard has not been touched. I am sick of re homing things in a responsible manner and could happily set fire to it all! No doubt I will be back on an even keel tomorrow when we go and do it all again.
DD1 phoned earlier, she is coming down on the over night ferry on Thursday and then driving from Aberdeen. She will help me in between her busy schedule. She has stuff stored at Mum's that I don't have room for here. It is hurting my brain. Too many problems to solve and too many decisions to make.
This is the second house I have organised to empty in a year. My Mum's being bigger and fuller. I don't want to have to do this ever again.
Weenancy , I am Derbyshire born and bred, where were your research people from?
Love to all but you probably wouldn't want it just now as it would be spiky . hahaha

Daisy , you made me smile!
Mrs SD I thought you may be off touring Canada not just the virtual tour.
Large suede/ fleece long jacket in cs bag, takes over half ao I can take. A big step as fits and is warm but have so many more new to me coats and my lovely new warm walking jacket.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
My contribution to doing something, anything was to put a new black bag in the wheelie bin 😉 DH has planted out some seedlings 🤞and has unblocked/cleared the bathroom sink. I have started sorting out the rest of the birthday cards & will start writing & addressing them later. A bit (or should that be a lot 😔) behind this year 😔 Changed my mind about writing birthday cards & went back to knitting the baby blanket 😉 I have just had a short chat with one of the young ladies in the rented house next door. She is currently filling the bins as she is moving quite soon due to a steep hike in the rent 😠 Fortunately she has managed to find somewhere a couple of streets away as she likes the area.
The EDT is safely in Canada now - the Teleportation Device worked perfectly 👏 Regrettably it was too cloudy to get the full benefit of the sunrise 😔 We are moving along very sedately 🙂 Who knew that all it would take to persuade our driver to slow down was to teleport to Canada 🤣 She is so happy 😁 and is even looking forward to an overnight stop in Vancouver 😊 Don’t forget that we teleported the whole EDT, so sleep-pods are available 😊 I was thinking about our next trip - not so far afield but how does Switzerland sound 😉
DH has spent a bit more time in the garden, a bit of watering & refilled the starter pots with compost & I have sown a few more radish seeds. I have finished knitting the baby blanket & just need to sew in the ends. I used another HF card & made Linguine in a creamy bacon & peas sauce 🤤 My DB phoned my DSis - very chatty. His area of Germany has had so much rain that everywhere has been flooded 😧 All the family are fit & well. Wudupa

Such a shame you never found original blue bear weenancy 😔 but at least you have lots of brother & sister bears 😊 Hopefully now that you are at “maximum upheaval” you can start to see a way through 🤞 Sorry to hear that you are suffering at the moment 😔 but well done on keeping moving 👏
machasraven, forget about how has 9 days passed so quickly 😉 how has four months gone by in the blink of an eye 😱 What a good friend you are 😇
QueenJess, great news about your DS 😊 Well done on reaching your mini target 👏 A medal 🏅 is on its way 😊
GrannyKate, nice to see you 👋 Hopefully now that we are travelling a bit more slowly, you will be able to skim read the 98 posts🤞
Excellent decluttering charlies_tribe 👏 Pleased to hear that DS is OK 😊 Good luck to DD2 for her English exam 🍀
Excellent decluttering wishus 👏 How exciting that your bathroom renovation is well on the way to being completed 🥳
A very busy Tuesday Liverpool_Anne 👏 Sorry to hear about ln 😔 Sending lots of good wishes for a speedy recovery from the hernia op once it has been performed 🙏 More great cheerleading 😊
weenancy, a very busy Tuesday for both you & Di 👏 Keeping everything crossed that the predicted rain stays away 🤞
Thursday 04:00 & the rain is pounding the windows & there is thunder & lightning 🌩️ ⚡️ I suppose 4 consecutive completely dry days was too much to hope for 😞
bamboo_socks, I am with florianatwobob - people are just so impatient 😉
Great work packing boxes Florafauna 👏 Please pop into the new carriage & enjoy our trip through the Canadian Rockies 😊 The TLC Carriage is also available when you have seen enough magnificent scenery 😊 Decided against putting a glass dome on the TLC Carriage as we are all so used to its current configuration 😅
Wednesday2000, perhaps once your husband has retired you can look into visiting Canada 😊 Meanwhile I hope you are enjoying our ‘virtual’ journey through the Rockies 🤞
Excellent decluttering Rootle 👏 & well done on getting rid of the very large cardboard box 👏 Hopefully the space you have created will remain empty 🤞at least for a little while 😉
Just noticed the time & as I am only a page behind now I will post this & try again tomorrow 😉 Hope everyone has a good night’s rest - the sleep pods might be bijou but the mattresses are really comfortable 😊
Whilst I remember, DSis bought me flowers on Tuesday & I have used the new to me vase. The flowers are gorgeous 🤩

@vulpix - Researching in Crich and Pentrich right now. The fun of helping other people with their research is that I never know where I will be searching next. Tonight it was in Switzerland.
Might drop off and do a virtual visit with my cousins in Kamloops, Salmon Arm, and Tappan, British Columbia. Been there to visit in person for several family reunions. Trying to get the family reunion committee to try one in Switzerland where the family is from originally. I took my parents and a friend in 2005 and drove around Canton Bern. In summer rather than in winter! The town we went to is a ski resort in winter. Not driving in the snow.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a catch up day to get caught up on paperwork. Then grocery shopping. Hope to get rid of about 5 or 6 frogs tomorrow. Hope everyone is enjoying the virtual trip to Canada.15 -
Took hours to go to sleep, awake at 4. ugh.
Lovely flowers Mrs SD, I gave the Ukranian lady irises yesterday, another one of my favourite flowers.
Weenancy, there is a castle and a tram museum at Critch. Also a very good psychological thriller film set there called Dead man's shoes. Both places are at the other end of the county to me,nearer bit by bit. Close to where Mr V works on a Saturday and Sunday mornings.
