[Deleted User] said:Hi, i just joined to post something for florenceem - i wonder does mr f have non tremor parkinsons?
The slowness, the losing time, the constipation, the falls, the low blood pressure maybe causing falls.
We have it in the family and it sounds very familiar.
Forgive the intrusion, i've been reading everyday for years xx

Hello fellow declutterati 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
falling well behind but as I was very ill shall forgive myself. I have also had the “he said/she said” with the chemist v the doctors…..normally I get riled up but this time said “you know what? I am too poorly to care so one of you get it sorted”. That actually worked surprisingly…..🤣
I have been dealing with frogs in the form of PIP and pension - you couldn’t make this up - finally worked out what to add to AVCs - sent the request to payroll and was then told they didn’t do that, I needed a different form and a different department. 😳😳😳 Went through MSE pension and savings boards, gave myself a headache and have decided to stop!I have redone my totals as at the end of April in my signature and will do much more decluttering in May as opposed to being poorly and sleeping 🤣🤣🤣 (like I had a choice)(which I didn’t)
Anyway HUGE cwtches to everyone - if you aren’t a hubby person or don’t like them much, pass them on xxx

vulpix - I tried to do an econsult - not done one before - I didn't know that you had to do it in the morning so it will be Tuesday now. Mr F has a telephone appointment on Tuesday with a hospital doctor already.
daisythelab - I haven't heard of non tremor parkinsons.
I only popped to SA quickly this morning to give my friend the net curtains that I had shortened for her. She gave me her jacket back as wants a row of stitching to hold the altered sleeve length in place. I have already sewn the required stitching.
I have started to cut out some aprons and sort out mugs to fill with chocolates for Father's Day.
Mr F was in this morning due to the heavy rain but went out this afternoon to take stuff to the charity shop.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Florenceem. Good. I am pleased that you have got the ball rolling. Xxx
DD1 is here and currently making a vegan curry feast. Gotta love that girl.
I have taken in the sleeves of her favourite cardigan which was mine originally. Sewn on a similar button and currently have it in soak.Gave mum’s lawn mower away today. Full car of stuff went to the tip.Have a great weekend.Vx:17 -
Bonjour, declutterati chums. MrRif, now on his 11th day in hospital is doing well. He had sepsis/ septicemia- I don’t know what the change of name is about- but the infection has been beaten by the antibiotics. He is weak and tired, but lucid, talkative and very very keen to get home as he doesn’t like the food. The food is actually quite good and freshly cooked on the premises, but he has very “British” tastes in food. Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts, hugs and cwtches.Out
3 jars very ood food
pile of packing
pile of waste paper
pile of tissue paper
2 packs of small packs of tissues to MrRif in hospital
another pile of cards that I will not be crafting with
2 books for French library sale
2 books to CS
Total 13+78=91/366.
I’ve been following the Canadian trip- and would love to go there some day, Commiserations MrsSD , like you, I didn’t win anything this month either.Hugs and cwtches for everyone.
PS How is cwtches pronounced?18 -
Thank you for the welcome daisy.
Florenceem, it can take longer to diagnose if it presents without the tremor - i would push for a neuro consult if you can. It also causes depression and anxiety as the brain is changing.
The meds can work very well - it's just getting to the correct medical specialist. You need to be pushy - ask me how i know...
I hope it has helped.

retiredinfrance - good news about MrRif's recovery progress.
daisythelab - thanks for the info. Another change is that Mr F has really slowed down when eating his dinner. He often used to finish eating before me but now seems to be slow at cutting food and eating slowly - is that usual in the illness? Does the correct medication give a marked improvement?
