Been out again to SA - we offered to take in the food delivery. The outside light didn't come on - sensor type - had chaps sleeping out there so may be they disabled it to get off to sleep.
We have prayer breakfast tomorrow morning so won't be late to bed.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

A few DIY things weren't go on free site so put outside on wall and plumbing and other bits gone except new pop up waste - will try tomorrow.
This evening felt abit down, DD2 very grumpy and finding me stressful and work and RL abit overwhelming. Decided I needed action rather than feeling sorry for myself, so cleared sofas in the living room that couldn't be used as living room, random bits away, and cd player on the sofa etc put where they can be used. Old cushion and few other things in textile bag for H&M voucher, book and stamps for CS, broken packaging out, cables and jars for the donation hub together, and books piled up put on bookcase, played some uplifting music to help me get through it, few other things put in a home, all picture hooks put together and away, also remember during the week deleted emails and photos, and couple of plant pots (broken) in the bin so counting as 25 and feel moved forward abit .
Reading along but earlier so can't remember who said what, sorry!
Had good advice of setting timescale for de.aing with things, so say 2 weeks to try and sell, then give or recycle, or x days/months for papers. Hoping this will help me..... we will see and I will report back!

Hi all, not much done yesterday, bathroom bin emptied, shopping done and put away and 2 LDFPA and the footy. Even less done today, I am tired and in a cba mood so have been reading and slobbing on the couch but I have cleaned the bathroom
and finished sewing the flannels I started weeks ago so that probably counts as a frog
@wishus my mind also boggled at the word slurryand a whole suit of armour, amazing
@~FlowerPot~ I think it was Vulpix who gave the advice about daffs, mine are all leaves atm. Comisserations re the moths, I had them in the wardrobe and they are hard to erradicate, I used sprays and washed everything and now have anti moth things from land of the lake in all draws and the wardrobe justin.
@Wednesday2000 I didn't even know you could get such a thing as an oil diffuser with blue tooth, every day is a learning day
@Vulpix, yes it was me who was wishing for an olive tree. I will check out morries and see what they have, thank you. I agree about the B12 jabs being stingy, I am pretty hardened to jabs but they always hurt and if I didn't need them I wouldn't choose to have them but I do feel the difference before and after.
@Mrs SD, lovely pics and that squirrel is very cute
@Brie, you're worth it
@Florafauna I use tuna for tuna pasta, just mix the tuna with cooked pasta and add a bit of pesto or seafood dressing. Also make tuna kedgeree.
Off to sleep now so hugs to anybody who would like one

Friday: DH left just after 09:00 for a day of RBR. Slightly drizzly when he set off but had a dry sunny day & got back at 19:00. Here it was dry with some bright sunshine & the rain stayed away until 20:35. I didn’t get up until gone noon 😔 Spent the day knitting & watching junk TV. For dinner I converted the lo bolognaise sauce to a cottage pie with fresh peas added & accompanied with a side of fresh green beans. Enough cottage pie lo for 2 takeaway boxes for the freezer. Been so busy at work that I've not had any time to get anything done. Tried to catch up this morning by putting away all the clean clothes and now am on my second load of washing and have changed all the beds. I also put away a huge pile of Lego from DS's room and whilst I was doing that we found some stuff to go. I went into the loft to swap a container for DS's tat (wanted a smaller one so it fits better in his room) and at the same time DS wanted to get rid of a big box of his stuff up there.House feels more under control now, but still a ton of washing to catch up on and the usual tidying to do. I am enjoying my very sparse window sills at the moment in the bedroom and the living room, so I think they are here to stay. Still need to work through lots of other window sills and surfaces, but needs to be little and often as I don't have enough time. More still leaving than coming in, so it gets a bit better everyday. I am also enjoying the new ruthlessness DS seems to have acquired - he'd be a dream for Dilly!Bedside lamps and duvet cover I ordered were awful quality and scratched/had lots of pulled threads, so I sent them back and found better quality ones for a higher price elsewhere, but then I intend to keep them until they fall apart. I've been watching a few YouTube videos from Minimal Ease and I like quite a lot of what she says (and she decorates with plants which I like to do as well). One of the things she says is that you shouldn't settle and I guess particularly more important if you have few things - so you should get good quality things that you love and are right. Don't settle for something that isn't quite right.Sorry, that was all a bit stream of consciousness, but hopefully easier to read than Ulysses!Digital:

Saturday has started dry but overcast. The recycling wheelie bin has been emptied…… even though I hadn’t put it roadside 😉 Up slightly earlier today, just after 11:00 & have my first cuppa & have dealt with today’s mail.
Wednesday2000, the hotel sounds wonderful & always nice to be upgraded 😊 Sounds like a lovely mini, mini break 😊 Well done on resisting temptation in the charity shops 👏 Good luck with ‘Project Health & Fitness’ 🍀
Excellent decluttering mhagster 👏 Somehow it seems more pleasing when you know the person who is giving items their 2nd or 3rd life 😊
Florenceem, wow 121 sacks of textiles 🤩 There must be oodles of space at the SA now 😉 Somehow, it seems that when you want to put on weight it is almost impossible but hopefully you will be successful over the next few month🤞
SuperLooperSaver, lovely to hear that your young son is so good at decluttering 😊
Great decluttering Florafauna 👏 Those stem ginger biscuits sound so delicious 🤤 Sorry to hear that someone has upset you but pleased that you found such a great way to release the stress 😊
Florenceem, hopefully the sensor light has been re-enabled 🤞
Sorry to hear that you have been feeling a bit down TC77 😔 but well done on fighting your way through & doing so much tidying & decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed that setting time limits on disposing of items will help you reinvigorate your decluttering mojo 🤞
Excellent decluttering wishus 👏
Lovely cheerleading post Liverpool_Anne 😊 You might be in a cba’d mood but you have still managed to get quite a bit done 👏
QueenJess, excellent decluttering by both you & DS 👏 At the rate DS is going, Dilly might soon be out of a job 🤣 I am so impressed by your DS that I am awarding him another medal🏅 Loved your stream of consciousness, a timely reminder to buy quality rather than quantity 😊
The weather has perked up a bit & the sun is trying to come out 🙂
Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday 🙂 Cwtches to all 🤗

Been out to prayer breakfast at SA - about 30 there - I was serving food and doing cups of tea - then there was all the washingup/drying up to do. I helped Mr F with the SA recycling bins before coming home for a welcome cup of tea.
I loaded up with stuff for the charity shop and walked into town.
Mr F was taking a shopping trolley of stuff to another charity shop.
Warm here but breezy - blowing off the sea and straight up the High Street.
I sorted out more stuff and went off to the charity shop again - I need the space in my craft room.We brought stuff back from SA when it was closed this week and now gradually getting rid.
