I finished my April Birthday cards yesterday and made 4 Father's Day cards for fund raising.
April showers here - Mr F dodged the rain and took my trolley full of stuff to the £ charity shop..
Heard nothing about my missing gates yet.
I asked C if he wanted me to lock up this evening after the drumming workshop - no drumming so could I lock and set alarm at noon. We took 5 bags of clothes recycling round in an Asd. shopping trolley. There had been so much rain - I had to move off the plastic sheeting in the alley - to stack the bags.
I am working on May/June/July/August Birthday cards now.
Mr F had his lunch and has gone off to the charity shop again and to post a Birthday card to Germany - small card that I made - costs £2.50 postage now.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Mrs SD that is the cutest thing I've seen!
Sending love and hugs to all who need them. The dolls listed were collected yesterday lunchtime. This morning we've been to soft play with DGD and then I listed a pile of hair accessories on the free site. They should be being collected in the morning. I've sorted all the knitted dolls clothes in to piles on the conservatory floor, the DDs can choose a couple for DGD and then the rest (2 bin bags full!) Can be listed.
DGD is going home for a couple of hours and then back for the night so don't think much else will get done.
25 LOL doll + all accessories
30+ pods (a bin bag full) for the dolls (I was going to bin them but they asked for them with the dolls)

I've managed to make a small dent in the pile of veg in the fridge and have a small slow cooker full of veg and lentil soup/stew which should do a meal tonight and another day.
I've just given a friend who likes the soup I make 4 portions of soup and some bananas I'm not going to be able to eat.
I managed to bin 2 coats that were a size too big and we're getting past their best.
Plus a tatty t-shirt that was binned.

@Liverpool_Anne and MrsSD
I put on my big girl's pants (XXL size after cruise overeating....) and checked the credit card bill.
And I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was about half what I expected. And then I spotted that I had set up a payment to it for while we were away. But frankly it was less than £400 we spent and I'd already paid £200. Normally if we go on holiday there's all those bills for meals and parking and petrol and hotels. With the cruise everything was paid in advance so it's much less painful. Card is set up to clear in full so nothing else to do with it now.
And for a bit of balance when we came home from holiday there was a bill from the water company correcting our readings so that we're over £200 in credit - that's like 18 months worth for free so will be making that call to ensure they stop the DD for the foreseeable future.

More books to the charity shop, also a giant glass stein and some clothes. Decluttered a lot of energy yesterday and today at the pool learning how to swim the front crawl properly. Am doing a @London1 and working my way through the store cupboards, I've made a parkin and a large cheese and pesto tart for tomorrow. My six tins of tuna need to used soon, any ideas please?
@mrssaladdodger the squirrel and sausage roll is brilliant. At school, the squirrels pull half eaten panini from the bins and fight off the magpies. They are as tough as nails12 -
Florafauna - I have made tuna pasties using ready rolled puff pastry from Ald. and have made a quiche - also put tuna on a hm pizza.
I have refilled my shopping trolley ready for Mr F to take to the charity shop tomorrow.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Flowerpot - we had the moths a few years ago…..they’re blighters! Definitely the traps but you probably to need to treat the areas first. I used a brand called ‘Pest Expert’ (available from Am**on). There was a powder that you leave down then vacuum up, a spray and smoke bombs. I did the lot and still had to repeat some areas. The used the sticky traps to monitor the situation.Hth
