Morning all. I am slacking at the moment. Have decluttered several meetings this week and booked 2 house viewings. First one the agents didn't turn up and I sat outside for 45 minutes before giving up - no-one answering phone or emails. It was 5 hours before anyone got back to me and blamed new appointment system. Grrr. I had already waited a week and now have to wait while they reorganise appointment. Second viewing different but awkward as there are tenants. Estate Agent very friendly and professional all round. Property in good place but too small. My agent has not contacted me once in three weeks and no viewings so far. DGCs are on school holidays so here weekend and most of next week.
421 CC Bill paid
422 Quiz questions written, used and recycled
I haven't done the March banking round up so better do that as one DGC has gone back to the sleep and the other one is playing on line with his school friend. Raining here as well. Put a bike up for sale on line - cheap as it needs new pedal but too small for DGS4 and he has a bigger one here.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Hello all, I seem to have missed 11 pages of posts, I have tried to keep up but I've forgotten most of it, loving the knitting/sewing photos though, I remember those. Hopefully I'm getting stronger/better but only time and my oncologist will tell me.
Yesterday I went out to a local retail park to a bed store as we need a new mattress and I tried most of the beds in the shop. We finally decided on one which has been ordered, so lots of ££££'s gone from the bank account ! When did they become so eye wateringly expensive 😨 but I suppose as Granny would say "buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you're not in one you're in the other" 😂
I also managed to get out in the garden yesterday afternoon before it rained.... again 🙄, and did a bit of light weeding while being kept an eye on DH by who was sweeping up the fallen leaves from the drive and the patio. The green waste bin is partly full now as I added another gone over bouquet of flowers to it.
I have passed on 3 books to DD and when she and DGD arrive today for a natter I can declutter another one. Out today an empty plastic air freshener container and 3 take away boxes that had been reused again and again. Also gone a cardboard box which contained bags of coffee pods.
Take care all and happy decluttering, hugs to the poorly ones and anyone struggling.

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently16 -
Good morning. Just a quick post before I put DGD down to nap.
The hair accessories were collected at 8 this morning. I tried to sort through the dolls clothes but DGD was 'helping ' so will try again later. I have thrown a stained cardigan and some odd mittens/booties tgat I really struggled to throw, in case I found the matching one, but I can't hold on to them forever.
12 headbands
8 bows
2 christmas bobbles
Hair Bun wrap
Stained Knitted cardigan
6 odd Knitted mittens/booties

That squirrel is very cute! I have two that come into our garden to eat from the neighbour's bird feeder.
I had a nice stay at the hotel, although I had a bad sleep as I realise I often do at hotels as I find the rooms too hot, but the hotel itself was very nice. I can see why it gets such good reviews. I think they must have had an event there as it was fairly busy for a mid week day. I booked a room for only £99 and when we got there we got an upgraded room too. Luxury Hotels Southend on Sea | Roslin Beach Hotel
We did go to the beach first by bus, but by the time we got there the tide was out and it started raining so we headed to the hotel early. The bus went round parts of my area that I hadn't seen before (Great Wakering and Little Wakering) and there were some stunning big houses on the bus route. We ate out at a 50s style diner in the evening and then went to the cinema. We walked into Southchurch today and I did go into two charity shops I hadn't been to before, but didn't buy anything.
I am making up another bag for the charity shop. I am definitely adding my pink purse as it keeps spilling coins out the side (usually while I'm in shops) which I find very annoying.
I was pleasantly surprised to come home and find my house more or less how I left it as sometimes my cats make a mess when left to their own devices for the night. I had done a load of laundry before I left so I just had to hang it up. I just did a Tesco order for tomorrow and my new weighing scales are coming tomorrow too. I did get a letter when I got home asking me to book my 5 year NHS health check so I might leave that until the end of April. I have been getting in my steps this week as I have been deliberately walking more. I did over 20,000 steps yesterday, but I really need to lose weight once I know what my weight actually is! I might use the old fashioned measuring tape too.

Hello. Niece has just visited and taken stuff away. Hurrah!
Bench that someone was supposed to collect yesterday but didn’t (grrr) she’s taken ( and is paying me for)Wicker picnic basket that I keep the kids toys in has gone too.
A tin ( kind of like a pirate chest shape) that’s certainly older than me that was my dads has gone for great nephew’s toys.A quilted bedspread that was my sons and a pair of navy curtains. So it’s not lying around my house in piles which is good! It can go and make piles in hers.
Can’t remember if I posted here yesterday but dropped off 25 books to supermarket charity shelf. And something I’d put on local FB page collected today ( was supposed to be yesterday)15 -
I went to SA as recycling textiles was meant to be collected at 10am. Chap was held up by traffic so I popped home for a while - benefit of living 3 minutes from SA. Walked back to SA - chap collected 121 sacks of recycling.
Then I walked into town with 2 bags for the charity shop and popped in the post office for some packages. Back to SA and then home for a quick lunch. Went back to SA - stayed until 4.15 as our Ukrainian friends were practising their choir.
My poor little legs - I thought as I had been given and eaten lots of goodies at Christmas - I would have put on quite a bit of weight - just 1 lb when I weighed myself yesterday.
Mr F has been into town twice taking stuff to charity shops.

Mrs SD. You suggested a while ago about my young son helping with decluttering. He had helped once. It was fun. He was very good at it!! We cleared a wardrobe.
Oh and brilliant squirrel photos! Ours take whole sunflower seed heads!10 -
Squirrel photos are so good. Plus thanks for all the tuna suggestions. I'm planning a cooking afternoon tomorrow. Friends popped round today and picked up a picnic hamper, chives, strawberry plants and some seeds. Their garden is pots in a yard and all these things can be grown there.
Decluttered my stress at the lido which was needed as someone upset me. 40 minutes in the water worked brilliantly and I am now decluttering a posh small pack of stem ginger and dark chocolate biscuits14 -
