Happy new year to you all! Hoping you will let me join you again this year.
I was doing well last year but things fell by the wayside when it came to dealing with my dad's house.
The good news is it was sold in November and by some miracle we siblings are all talking to each other still! The process isn't yet finished with regards to the dwp but that is the final bit. Just waiting for confirmation.
Ziggy is still wonderful and has a snuggle with me every morning by meowing until I lay on my back and he lays on my chest.... he has me trained well!
I am aiming for 366 of this size bag (using the bag as my measurement) and have so far filled it 3 times. I am also aiming for 24 large items and 30 🐸 for Frog Freeing February

Sorry I've been missing in action for a while. This thread has really gotten away from me and have missed lots.I've had a few things come in, and have been trying to make a start on tidying and decluttering today.Ive managed to take 1 small(ish) bag to the charity shop yesterday, plus took 4 small plates to a friend who needed them.I've fortunately got a WhatsApp group through church that i can post things that I no longer need on.I've so far managed to re-home 3 cook books, 4 other books, 1 roll of bubble wrap, 1 roll of wrapping film (for moving home), an unopened bottle of jeyes fluid, 1 IKEA picture frame and a cable tidy. They will be going to church Sunday.I've posted some other bits and and am waiting to see if they will go.I've a small bag on the go since yesterday for the charity shop.Decluttering campaign 2023

Advice please re kitchen appliances. I've just bought a multi cooker primarily as my big oven broke (range cooker which is wasted on me) and as I may move and have coped with a grill and hob seemed a good option and advice on another thread. It is big (but middle size) - do people use and like them? As I have option of returning.
I will have an oven when I move which could be some time away!
Then I have heavy kitchen aid blender but thinking hand blender may be enough - happy to have slightly lumpy soup etc and really want to have less in my kitchen - and any other advice about things I may not need. I know I have too many casserole dishes (the irony of not having an oven is not lost on me)
I have a glass jug blender and stick blender, both good for different things. The stick blender power unit also has a mini chopper which gets used a lot.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Jeebus this thread moves quickly. Just a bit of decluttering and mind clearing today.
#22: Mr. Jings started rearranging the furniture without me finishing clearing The Table of Doom but I'm glad he started. We have a better layout now and it's coming together. I'll finish clearing that table tomorrow and Saturday. I'm trying to do it 10 min at a time so I don't get overwhelmed.
But with him moving stuff around, he's now surfaced all my office and art supplies out into the living room. Trying not to break out into anxious hives 😬
#23: Duvets are getting packed up so I can drop them off at the laundromat tomorrow for a good washing.
#24: Mr. Jings is currently sweeping and mopping down the vestibule to get rid of plaster and dust on the floor.18 -

Good evening. MrsSD I think my digital declutter target needs to be double really. I didn't realise how many emails I get, I've got 34 already today, over the year that's over the 10000 already.
Today I started on some of the storage boxes. I managed to look through 3 boxes. Box 1 was half barbies half teddies/toddler toys and a Nokia 3310!
Box 2 was a load of dolls clothes, dolls shoes, dolls carseat etc. The clothes are in the washer to join the others already bagged.
Box 3 was an old laptop, wedding album, photos, Samsung E1200 and some other bits.
12 toy items from a storage box 1
2 cables, waterproof phone bag, replacement strings (for what I have no idea) from storage box 3
Christmas cardsPhysical 19/2024
200 emails deleted
40 documents deleted

I met a friend for coffee today, which involved a mooch around Next, TK Maxx and Hobbycraft. Reader, I came home with a 10ml perfume (as I have none) and a delivery of some nail files (as I'm growing my nails and had none of these either). This is progress 😅19
