Hi all, very poor decluttering day yesterday all I did apart from sort out the clocks was empty the lr bin
, but it was a nice day otherwisr. I bumped into my cousin at the footy with his daughter and her bf. She is on her easter break from uni in Cardiff so I don't see her very often
. I had set the box to record and it had failed to do it so I did delete a few things as it might be a bit full but I will be keeping an eye on it. OH was miffed as it had also failed to record something else but I was able to get that on the player. OH had spent the day cleaning the learner car and putting new mats in. The old mats are sitting on top of the green waste bin. I asked if they were for the bin but apparently not. I am not interfering but it is currently chucking it down so they will be getting a rain rinse through
Today OH is off to see some family and will be taking a large number of things from the freezer yay. I was planning to do some more work in the garden but it's not looking like that will be happening unless it stops raining
@Vulpix I also have a few items of clothing that are just a bit on the small side and I have tried to be ruthless but I can't yet bring myself to get rid of the linen tops, such good quality I have decided to keep them for a while but the others will be going. I am still wearing things that are too big but I don't mind that as long as the trousers don't fall down
@Rootle you have prompted me to go through my gardening trainers as last time I put a pair on I discovered they aren't actually a pairso there must be another 2 somewhere
. At least 1 pair can go if I can find them.
@mhagster wow some seriously large items leaving. I am wondering if you would like to take some of your plants in pots with you.
@TC77 well done on getting a few fit jobs sorted and good luck getting the doors sorted..
@QueenJess your DS is doing a grand job
@~FlowerPot~ lovely daffs, they do cheer me up. Quite a few of mine have failed to flower this year, lots of leaves but few flowers sadly.
@florianatwobob I said to OH only yesterday that I thought we needed a box or a basket thing to go on the shelf above where we hang our coats to put the hats and scarves in as they are currently just piled up there and do look a mess as we have loads but I love them all
Right off for another cuppa and a ponder what to do today. Hugs to everyone who would like one
494 lr bin emptied
Take care everyone

Happy Easter and Spring to everyone 😊 Watch out for pranks and tricksters!
We still have hot cross buns to declutter so I will prioritise that particular job. I have had a refresh with the summer curtains, tablecloths and cushion covers. It looks nice today so I hope to get the others washed and packed away. It is only the kitchen curtains that I change. Also spring blossoming branches and flowers have brightened up the house a bit. Along with the decorated eggs that the children did decades ago. All the recycling went on Saturday and the place doesn’t look too bad if you don’t look too closely. I really ought to wash the kitchen floor though after all this grotty weather. Despite having her paws wiped after coming in I know that the dog will have left a layer of ingrained mud. Sewing today which will mean that I have decluttered a project whilst manning the washing machine. I’m not planning on doing much else if I can help it.15 -
The weather has fooled me already - it’s now chucking it down 😂15

Up early today and decluttered the ironing.
I need to put away my Easter craft bits and LO cards today.
I sorted out a trolley of stuff for the charity shop and Mr F has gone off to town with it.
I am hoping to have a day indoors but Mr F will check outside the SA for bags of donations. If there are any - he will phone me and I will go round to take them in.

Good morning. I have been reading along but have had a very busy week with hospital appointments and visits (got a phonecall from my auntie Sunday to say my gramda was very poorly). I haven't managed much over the week but had lots of plans for while the children were off over half term, possible bedroom swap, but DHs sciatica has kicked in so I think I'll just be having a good sort through instead.
I have got piles of things to put on the free site sat on the table, some that was listed before and not collected, so will start with that first.

I am another scarf fan. I try to contain them in one drawer... try.
Lovely cheery daffodils flowerpot. The daffs without flowers may be overcrowded and need thinning out.
Charlies tribe, I feel for you husband. I used to have sciatica. It is so annoying when you want to do stuff but can't. You could give him sitting down jobs to do though! I am sorry to hear that your Grandma is poorly.
I tried on a couple of pairs of trousers from the wardrobe. One pair fits perfectly, the other pair fit but look awful. I have never worn them, I think they were a panic purchase before our cruise last year. They are in the charity shop bag.
My painting of the cast iron garden furniture is not going well. One chair has a loose leg which can only be accessed by taking the back of the chair off. The screws are rusted in. An overnight soak of DW40 hasn't worked so I think it will be going on a trip to Nottingham for my stepson to drill them out.
I have put all my Easter decorations away and had a change round of ornaments in the sitting room. In pride of place in the middle of the room is a cast iron chair on an old PVC tablecloth. I am about to wash it before giving it a coat of paint.
Tomorrow we are going to media city in Manchester for a tour as guests of people Mr V has become friends with through one of his jobs.Later I have an appointment to give a blood sample and get a shingles vaccination. Rock and roll baby.
Enjoy the BH.
