Hi,
Very nice knitting,as usual ladies. Well done for people moving stuff on over Easter.
I have seen the vid Brie. Mind you there is plenty of modern technology that baffles me in a similar way!
The garden bench, seat side has had 3 coats of paint. I don't paint outside Mrs SD. I am in the sitting room with the heating on, watching Midsomer. I bought more plants yesterday and some second hand Canova Chatsworth lions, ready weathered. All my Birthday money now spent. My plan was to make a start in the garden today but Mr V tells me it's cold when he pegged the washing out. Perhaps I will get him to bring the cast iron chairs in and I can wash and paint them instead.
I have my eye on getting rid of Fomo's cat bed. He used it all the time but has now moved on to the back of the sofa. I have told him, he was quite noncommittal about it. Fluffy cat generally sleeps on the floor but she is devoted to her work in the woods so we don't see much of her.
I think the trousers that I wore yesterday can also go, they are too big. I have dug some out of the wardrobe to try. I am not quite the next size down, well I could be if I didn't have to move, speak or breathe. I am determined to loose a bit more weight. I have so many clothes that are just slightly too small. I don't want to accept it and buy bigger stuff. I find the older I get the harder it is to loose weight.
Right, I am off to tidy round we might have a visitor calling in later.

Happy Easter.
Out early to help serve a full English breakfast to about 35 folk at SA. Then all the washing up to do and clear away before the service.
Mr F sorted out the recycling bins while I did some sorting of donations upstairs.
Decluttered some bits to finish Easter Makes.
SA is closed until food bank on Friday but I will be popping in to keep donations under control.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I've cleared some space in my wardrobe, tried to be ruthless and I was a bit.
Out 4 dresses, 4 jumpers and 1 pair of jeans. I'm also not buying anything to replace because I'm only a few pounds away from being able to fit in most of my stuff that is the next size down. Like vulpix I can fit in a lot of it if I don't breath or move too quickly, so not quite yet!
Also got rid of a very tatty looking set of wicker drawers, the contents have been rehomed and are on the list ready for using up. Unfortunately the black bin is now full and it only gets emptied in 2 weeks time 😔
Also dealt with a little frog and have put together a bench for outside. It has been hanging around for a while, but deliberately so waiting for nicer weather before we moved it outside.
We have taken the Easter weekend to do some spring cleaning and plenty of resting and it's been really nice. Not looking forward to going back to the grind on Tuesday!14 -
Today there were a couple more bits sent off with the nephew. From the vast tool selection.Niece in law given a coffee set that was a gift from my mum and dad’s wedding. My daughters partner has just taken my husband’s mountain bike that my son used for a while ( both avid mountain bikers)
A tool table doodah ( no idea what they’re called) was collected for free on local FB page this morning.
Just put up two fruit trees in pots on local page.DD2 took my herb planter. And will take other plants. They’ve just moved in to a house with just a slabbed back garden. So she’s keen for some green stuff. Also decluttered my visitors. So whilst very nice to see them also lovely to wave them off ! And such a nice sunny day I got all the bedding washed and dried.13 -
Been trying to read along but missed pages so hope.people have been making use of the tlc carriage. A week of work but stayed at home and done little. Waking up early so having a cup of coffee back in bed and watching my k dramas ( far too addictive.) Have had my DIY friend to do some work tiled above sinke, repaired a socket, fixed door handle, put some useful hooks up, and curtain rail etc. Curtains now hanging up, old socket out, shirt and book and forgotten item in cs bag..one item sold and packaged up. Waiting for freebies to be picked up.
Today started to sort my books as no system, found I have 2 or 3 copies of some booked including 2 war and peace! Deciding if dd2 wants any or friends or to cs.
Worked with dd1 on pip appeal, abit more to do but hopefully post off on Tuesday.
Went to look at houses in Greenwich but disappointing as twice as expensive for half the size and such steep and narrow steps inside not suitable for me to age in! Will rethink.
DIY help needed as back door sticks and one half of front door ( is double) so no-one can take my dining room table and chairs and I can't get delayed delivery from my dad's. Have put other book shelf up, very slim just the depth of a book so love it.
Hope to report more tomorrow!13 -
Been watching loads of minimalist videos and so getting inspired to get rid of more stuff. I am off to turn all the hangers in my wardrobe around to see what I actually wear (although I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to that).Got waylaid again by DS... I was going to do my own sort out as inspired by someone who said that if you have more than 3 items on a flat surface/side, then it starts to look cluttered. I do need to sort out some of the windowsills etc and make sure I really only have what I love on them. However, DS said he wanted to go through all his paperwork and lots of his Lego boxes and he more than halved everything very easily. Sadly it now means my room is even more of a mess as I deal with the fallout of that (some things to charity, some to Buy Nothing, some to recycling and some to my sentimental DS box). Will have a 10 min. whip round in a minute and see what I can do before I collapse onto the sofa. I did parcel up the Ziffit stuff though (15% extra for a total amount above £10 only today if anyone is interested). I do feel another major declutter coming on if DS ever lets me get to it!Physical:
2 - baking cupboard overstock used up
265 - DS paperwork/boxes etc recycled
2 - packaging used up
1 - bathroom supplies used up
1 - broken toy (binned)
3 - toys that aren’t played with (Buy Nothing)
1 - food cupboard overstock used up
1 - plant (Buy Nothing)New total = 6,4862025 decluttering: 3,324🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

This was in the spring boarder. It was dry all day, until about 2 hours ago and now we have a deluge of rain, flooding and a thunderstorm,!!
Crazy, but I did manage to get the second bit of hedging finished whopp de whoop!! So most of the hedging plants have now been declutterd
And DD have given me some clothes that are too small, which is huge as she stores anything and everything!! So they gone into the CS bag i need to get it to the shop before she changes her mind!!

DSis and I decluttered the weeds from the front garden. The sparrows have been most determined that the bed under the side hedge should be regrassed so have been ‘kindly’ sowing and fertilising seed. We are equally determined that bed will not be regrassed…. It resulted in a lot of hoeing and I now ache due to the angle I was working at.Yesterday we decluttered ourselves to the pub for Easter lunch. It was lush.Today I have half promised myself I shall review my scarves…. I have many and only one neck….I wonder how many will remain at the end of the review….✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)
