Tasty looking pies there Mrs SD! You have been very productive whilst home alone. It’s nice that the boaters are keeping you up to date with their adventures. The spare room was getting to me with how much stuff had not been put away from different activities. I had a good tidy up and vacuum, sorting out some bits for the bin along the way. I decided to go through a drawer of weird and historic bits and pieces that had accumulated over the years. There were some half used notebooks. I tore out the used pages for recycling and now have the rest ready for use. It will stop me buying any more. I wilted a bit at the ancient address book of many who are no longer with us, bygone friends and different times. That, I shoved back to deal with another time, which is fine as I know it is there to be dealt with at some point when I feel up to it. The drawer is less cluttered for now anyway.I am continuing with emptying the freezer and using up food in the store cupboard. Simplifying my shopping too. Bringing less in is very important to me now. Some 🐸s have been eaten but there are always more. Although possibly I just make heavy weather of things!I am continuing to read along and my thoughts are with those in difficult circumstances. Well done to everyone for keeping going with the decluttering 👏 I am excited for you that you are in your new house @dND and wish you every happiness there.20

Hi all, union visit yesterday morning and got home about 1. Had some lunch and started dealing with the paperwork from the visit which I will finish today. The bathroom bin, lr bin and kitchen recycling were emptied and I tackled a bag of doom. Found paperwork from 2013
. Looking at it I have no idea why I kept it for so long, must have just been shoved in the bag in an attempt to get a pile out of the way. So I now have a bag of mostly empty plastic envelope files and some union related things that are still relevant. I will see if OH needs any of the files which might help organise some of the bags of stuff still lurking in the hall from when the car had it's boot emptied over a year ago. I am very reluctant to try to organise this as I really have no idea what is what with OH's paperwork. After tea I did some knitting.
Today I have my jab and I have everything crossed I will start to feel more energetic soon but I know it will probably take about a week.
@Siebrie, that is a very good idea, I am fairly certain that there will be an online link to the funeral. I will speak to my friend today and ask her to send me the details.
@short_bird love that definition of doom, that is exactly what they are in my house
@Florenceem lovely to see you back and the garden looks perfect for Mr F, let's hope with the summer approaching you get a chance to use it
@QueenJess I spoke to a fireman about washing machines catching fire and he said it used to be a problem but it doesn't tend to happen with modern washing machines, though it might be worth a phone call to the local fire brigade, I am sure they won't mind, if it puts your mind at rest. I think it's part of their job now to do things like that, they even visit people to fit smoke detectors etc.
@Mrs SD the scarf and apple pastries look lovely, I 'll be round later. The weather here yesterday was dreadful so I am not surprised Mr SD had a wet day. North Wales is lovely but we always say there is a lot of weather in Wales whenever we visit
. Glad they are having a good time
.
Right off to get organised and out. Hugs to everyone who would like one

So… i have lost the plot so unsure what i have updated to whom! if i repeat myself then I’m sorry.
I have now relabelled and cleaned the contaminated blue recycle bin. (This is the one i retrieved in the dark as mine has been missing for weeks) I’ve tried to separate some of the bottles and plastics that should have been in there but it really did stink. It was so bad i had to do in stages. It is now bleached etc and hopefully good to go!
Been quite bad with headache and ear ache etc and with nothing hitting it was told it could be a tooth. I hate dentists. Within 45 mins i was home minus a molar. My tongue is bad but this where it had been scraping on the tooth rather than the dentist!
Supposed to be going to see DD1 for a couple of days at Uni in London and was chatting to DD2 saying for a couple of hundred more we might as well go away all inclusive for the week. Unknown to me they had a chat and decided a holiday would be nicer and we could split the extra cost between us!
Got my list ready to tackle for the weekend, just wish it would stay fine so i could do the outside bits!Don’t put it down - put it away!

We dropped off the donation bag yesterday morning. We decluttered the pets to the kennels and went to catch the train into Limehouse and then got the DLR to Lewisham. I haven't been out in Canary Wharf in years so we might do that in future as we went past it on the DLR.
We are having a nice time in Broadstairs. We are meeting my cousin and her new puppy in Ramsgate later and then going to look around Margate tomorrow. We had an Italian meal in Broadstairs last night and then went back to my other cousins house.
A few of the people there worked in property and they were saying Cliftonville in Margate was the up and coming area. There was a very attractive young man there and he worked as a bit actor in the show House of the Dragon.18 -
Sorry been MIA two viewers yesterday and three today fingers crossed for a buyer 🤞🤞🤞17

I’m trying today to get a head start on next week. A shoulder of pork is in the slow cooker to turn into pulled pork for tea tonight. I’m currently tackling the ironing pile with an eye on what needs to go in the suitcase for a few days away. Now the rain has stopped I want to head to the ‘far shed’ to dig the steamer out and start to have a go at the oven. It would benefit from a professional clean but whilst the inside isn’t too bad the glass is in need of a good clean…..✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hola, I’m well chuffed with the treatment for the work tops in the kitchen. The kitchen installer treated them but they look great with a second go. I will add a picture.I have just been informed that we are going to Cheshire to buy a sound desk mixer. I couldnt say how many mixers are in the shed. Apparently they will all be cleaned up and listed for sale next week whilst I am away. I will look out for the famous five laughing their way through the canal system.I tried all my new clothes on. Keeping them all. I decided the one I am not keen on is fine for under a jumper. The shop is a Sue Ryder in Wythenshawe. Everything a pound. We found it when we had gone to pick Dd1 up from the airport and she was delayed a couple of hours. In the spirit of decluttering I have found a writing pad and a pack of envelopes to go. Also going, 2 notebooks and a picture off the landing wall. I like it but I have framed an embroidery of my Mum’s and can’t think where else it could go.Every one is cracking on, I am envious.
Fingers crossed you get a buyer this weekend London 1.Vx:18 -

Been to a birthday party already today. Then I took 2 bags I've already counted to a CS while DP and DS have gone food shopping and to choose an outfit for world book day.
I've been reading all the posts, and enjoying all the hugs.
Hugs to all that need them.
I realised my target should probably be 366! Although I started late anyway and it really doesn't matter. Which reminds me, a friend's partner said "yes" on Thursday. Am hoping there will be a hen do to come.....17
