florianatwobob - yes Mr F likes to be useful and take stuff to the charity shop and a rollator is not good then. I let him take my trolley so he has the stick in his right hand and the trolley pulled along by the left.
Mr F is doing some shredding in his office but still lots of papers to go.
My room of doom is still not sorted.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Quick post as I have awarded myself a lazy day before operation tidy and declutter as Estate Agent comes to do photos next Weds. Still very apprehensive but think now is the time to downsize. Researched a few things and costs of any work that might be needed. I have set myself an optimum price range to buy within but obviously the higher the price the less work I could afford to do. At the moment I have seen two places at either end of the range. The last, more expensive, one had some good points but on closer inspection, rather than viewing on line, there are things which will need to be done and none of them are cheap.
258 Photos downloaded and saved
259 No 2 House viewing done
260 House viewing no 3 booked for next Tuesday
261 Booked EA for photos and putting house on market next Weds

Hope it is ok to include the house move frogs in my numbers. Decluttered DGCs until Thursday now so no excuse for not clearing up. I want to go outside and tidy but weather is dreadful and it is so cold and wet today.
Good to see you @Florenceem. Hugs to all who need them.

QueenJess - I am too scared to run a washing machine while in bed after mine caught fire as did my son's one.Yikes! That's a bit scary.Did a pile of tidying and decluttering at the same time post kids back from school, but before bedtime. I've run out of motivation for today, so that's it for today. Still seemed to find quite a lot to declutter...Physical:

Happy St David’s Day!
Nice to see you back Florencem.
Only really popped on to update my signature with new numbers. Now usually I would be disgusted at such low numbers and the nasty inner voice would be shouting at me, but forward is still forward. Not earth shattering but the evenings are getting lighter, my weather app shows a bit more sun and I am finally getting settled into my book.⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Good to see you back, @Florenceem, and I hope that Mr F will make steady progress. When my DG broke the bone in his foot, I got him to use a walker and he hated the idea of it and I had some work to persuade him. I wanted to say don’t be silly, be sensible and get the Zimmer, but he said it made him feel old and useless. I replied that there was less risk of falling again with the Zimmer and we wouldn’t want that. He agreed and then I couldn’t get him to stop using it when it was time to walk more normally! You are a great support for him and do look after yourself.DH loves his physio and he wants an exercise bike as he really enjoys that part of the physio. It will clutter up the library but it will get more use there than in the spare room.
Hugs for everyone and take care.10 books out today to CS ,

daisy_1571 - I don't seem to be able to find the Sally Ann programme on You Tube - I don't have a TV.
I had the side alley done at the same time as the back garden. I am now waiting for a new gate and a fence panel in the other side alley.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Forgot to mention that Thursday night’s dinner was a bowl of oven chips 😉Wudupa.
Rained overnight but by the time I got up Friday 11:30 the sun was out 😊 I had a mug of tea, read the email from DH & then put my shoes on, put on DH’s jacket & caught bus to CW - withdrew some cash, posted letters & went to M&S Food Hall for bread, milk, eggs, mushrooms, a pepper & frozen peas. Managed to find this week’s TaB. Out for about 75 minutes. Warmed up with a hot drink & then used the stewed apple & lo pastry from freezer to make 6 apple tarts + an apple turnover.
Spent the rest of the afternoon watching TV & knitting + sorting my accounts - including March’s 1p Challenge. DH phoned - the weather has been unkind - lots of rain & the sun only came out once they had moored up for the night 😞 Even the poor weather doesn’t seem to be dampening their spirits 😊 I made a half portion of chicken & mushroom risotto from scratch & ate a third for dinner.
