Had another person ask about the left over wood used for our new kitchen counter. offering an ok price for half of it and I've got someone else who wanted some of it as well for a smaller price. Ok price person has agreed to come tomorrow afternoon so just need to find out if the other person is still interested.
Meanwhile when I was at work this morning the OH cleaned the lounge so the sofa is easy to get to and has left the door open so any smokiness dissipates. Many thanks for my medal Mrs SD. I have another 20 items boxed up ready for another charity for raffles/tombolas etc. I think with the amount I have picked up in the sales Dec/Jan year, I have been extremely lucky but couldn’t do it if I had to store everything, it would be impossible.
The cats have been sorting out generally…..
another two mugs knocked over and broken but I do need some new mugs, a matching set would be nice!
93-94) two mugs broken and thrown out
95) there were a few presents altogether but I’m counting it as one job lot of birthday presents given to DD
96-98) items x 3 out of the house and to DD. Slowly sorting out things she wants and things she doesn’t.
99-100) food tins x 2 that won’t be used taken to the food bank.
101) small bottle of extremely OOD yellow food colouring disposed of and bottle into recycling
102) hand cream of DDs left behind, used up and into recycling
Currently sorting out a cupboard and also some storage jars that are ready to wash for the charity shop.I’ve just had new windows and the blinds have gone out for recycling, one in particular had a lot of sun damage on it. Not going to count these though as they will be offset by new blinds coming in.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read something the other day for sinus issues. I didn't take it down but as far as I remember: Press your tongue as firmly as you can over as much of the roof of your mouth as you can. Then press one finger in the middle of your eyebrows. Keep alternating. Its meant to pivot something which can help release the sinus.
Hope it helps

Sofa guy showed up!! With CASH!!! Hurrah!! OH asked me what I was going to do with my money. Said I was setting it aside for the holiday we're going on in a few weeks. He was happy with that idea. (He's paid for the vast majority of the holiday - something that normally doesn't happen in this house as we have normally had 1 bank account for everything. But this was his inheritance money so he's spending it as he wishes.)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Back again. Did lots of email decluttering in the day between work tasks since I was already at a desk looking at screens. I have randomly written down the folders and the number of emails and am going through one by one looking to reduce the size of each folder by about half as a starting point. Getting close to being in the 1200's now for all emails. Also rearranged a couple of DS's drawers as we've decided to get a couple of deeper trays from IKEA tomorrow, but he needed to make sure there was enough space to store everything. As it was for a purpose, DS seemed more happy to get rid of things. I also moved all his spare colouring/activity books that are in progress out of his room and let him keep just a few. Once they are complete then he can get out more. I shall also be looking for a box to keep spare craft supplies/activity books tomorrow so they can go in the space in the big cupboard upstairs rather than hanging around in my wardrobe drawer. No one would ever notice the things we got rid of in DS's room... it's a drop in the ocean... Let's hope the new Sort Your Life Out is good and incentivises him to get rid of more!Digital:

Aching more than today than when I tripped yesterday, lovely dr at hosppital about another matter told me I looked exhausted and said are you really ok, which given I feel exhausted and stressed nearly tipped me over. being discharged from her service but a 20 min pep talk about looking after myself and taking time doing things and not rushing around
also the importance of good habits and ensuring our brain remembers how to do things the right way.
Came home decided to take cup of tea and toast to bed to watch TV with my legs up, and balanced plate and mug only for there not to be enough room, so one broken plate decluttered and lots of kitchen roll mopping up (no damage to me) but another reminder for the need to declutter.
used up pen out yesterday, broken plate today, and tin and 25 coloured pencils for donation hub. Off to see DD2 tomorrow at uni but setting myself a target of 100 for /by the weekend and if I get half way there will be happy.
Reading along and can see people doing well, and others popping into tlc to sample refreshments.
Hope to pop in soon 357 new total23 -

Tuesday was an overcast day but stayed dry. One load LDFPA but that is all I did apart from cooking dinner. Gammon, egg, chips & beans. DSis did the wudupa 👏 DH had his last two hour driving practice & was given a water bottle & lidded drinking cup (advertising) by his instructor 😉 I felt marginally better today so fingers crossed that the cold is finally on its way out. I have been watching Breathtaking - so depressing at how badly the pandemic was handled in England 😉
281 - 282 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
283 Kitchen detritus binned
Excellent decluttering London_1 👏 You will miss nosy parker neighbour when you move 😅 I hope your Russian roulette dinner was tasty 🤞
Florafauna, I hope your day out wasn’t too expensive 😊
An excellent day of decluttering TheEmerald 👏
QueenJess, more excellent decluttering 👏 I think we need to send a delegation to have a serious word with your DH - perhaps we might consider a spot of electro shock treatment 🤨 🤔 Sort Your Life Out was quite sad but how cute were the two daughters 😊
Brain is still not functioning well so I am heading off to bed & will try to catch up tomorrow 🤞

I hope that the earlier night will do you good Mrs SD and that the morning brings a continued improvement. I haven’t started watching Breathtaking yet but plan to catch up with it soon. That’s a proper Spring tableau in your garden and so pretty. My bulbs mostly get eaten by mice unfortunately but I should really make an effort to plant more as they are so lovely.@foxandflowers - that’s very impressive decluttering and making money at the same time.Sorry for your sad news @Liverpool_Anne 💐Everyone is doing so well on the decluttering front 👏20
