Fallen off the EDT again. A busy-ish week at work last week - nothing out of the ordinary but I am just so tired.
Preoccupied by finishing off an assignment for my course whilst trying to keep up with the next module. I rearranged one social arrangement at the weekend to make time to do this - it would have been a long lunch with alcohol and taken up the whole afternoon and evening. I managed to get out and meet friends for walk and coffee on Saturday and Sunday morning. Meeting a different friend today for lunch.
Tasks:
Made a loose arrangement for scaffolding to be taken down and light fitted - leftover elements of roofing work.
Set up 3 practise clients for my Therapeutic Supervision course.
Applied for some Spiritual Direction sessionsIn (running total 31)
32 & 33 - 2 more books for my course
Out (running total 62)

Have tried to keep up with reading the post but I haven't remembered who did what. Sending love to all especially those who are feeling rough or struggling 💕💐

Hi chums, pleased to hear everyone is doing so well and that does include QueenJess even if she doesn't think so! Just to say Jess, the stuff from your parents has to come to an end eventually and once it's all dealt with there will be no more! Something to look forward to.
I just came to say fabulous news that Salad Sisters son has made contact. That has to be a boost for her, and even better that she still hasn't smoked.
Startling news chums! the picture that I actually knew was in the shed has turned up despite Mr V looking for it twice! Now on the wall in the sitting room.
I made a list last night of 13 little jobs I need to do and then my life will be complete! so far I have cleaned the bathroom extractor with the tickling stick and cut fur lumps off fluffy cat from behind her ears. Mr V has been to the factory shop near us and bought undercoat, how much! I am about to start painting the step stool and the under stairs cupboard doors. I will delegate washing the hoover filter to Mr V, I know,I know too generous, It's my nature. There are more little jobs that will take seconds but a couple which will be a full day. Slim chance of getting any time in the garden, it is looking a bit forlorn atm.
Mr V has spoken to Saint Rachael at the hospital and she has located his blood results and is booking him in for a scan and appointment with the consultant in March. That's a relief, I underestimated how anxious it was making us both.

The third and last box has now been emptied, too. Cheers all around! This one contained more 'stuff' and less 'clothes', so I had a bit more thinking to do before I could put it all away. I binned 30-year old adhesive tights and some broken necklaces I had planned on re-making but have decided life is too short, I'm never going to.I now need to find a place for our swimming gear. I need to put my thinking cap on. Maybe the attic? But that's filled up pretty much. Maybe I'll just leave it in the little pile until after the garage sale day. Surely, I will have an empty house after thatThe green bin was filled to the brim, due to me using the lovely weather on Saturday to neaten the garden. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5921

Started tickling a frog, half done and should be completed next week.
Also finally managed to have a tidy in the garden, have cleared out all the potted plants that, ahem, didn't quite make it, and am having a stab at growing spinach.
My tulips are coming up lovely, although I am worried the upcoming cold snap might damage them. Luckily it doesn't look to be too bad where I am, hopefully the forecast is correct!
So the outside no longer looks like a plant graveyard. I have also repotted some indoor plants, although a basil plant I got might not be happy in my care... we shall see if I can rescue it.
Mr Puppy has broken his wrist, so most of the day to day tidying is having to fall to me, which means it is building up at times, but I am doing an OK job of keeping things looking somewhat presentable. It is making me realise I should probably implement some sort of end of day pick up.
Glad to hear things are going better for Salad sister, and best wishes to those struggling at the moment.

@vulpix - thank goodness for Saint Rachael getting the process moving for Mr V 🙏 It’s great that you managed to find the picture in the end. Mr MV has great difficulty looking for and finding things so I can never trust him saying that something isn’t there.Mrs SD - thank you very much for my medal😊 I hope that cleaning method proves to be useful with Mr SD’s office! It’s a shame that the blooming cold is still hanging around but hopefully it will shift itself off soon 🤞In the meantime, please take it easy 💐 ☕️ I shall also keep everything crossed for your sister and her son’s beginnings of resuming contact.17

I have added two serums and a dress to the donation bag. I can't seem to use any skin care product with retinol or vitamin C in it as I get a reaction.
The fun job of the day was washing some of my boots and trainers. I did 7 pairs of them so I had to do two loads and then I put white vinegar in for another wash to clean the machine.
I've been awake since about 4 this morning so it feels like it should be much later than midday!
I did find a new YouTube channel to follow. Earlyretirementwanderlust. They are a British couple who used to teach, but took early retirement in their early 50s. That is my afternoon gone.🤣 I did wonder if they were on here as they downsized and did a big declutter before they moved to a much smaller house!2025 GOALS

Hello all. Started the moving process with visits to Estate Agents this morning so it is real now. There is a lot of stuff to go. Meeting of new Local History group this afternoon. Trying to lose weight seriously now as it went up rather than down. I treated myself to some daffodils and noted I still have too many vases. I have a very large vase of silk/dried flowers in the hall which just annoys me and I keep moving it around. I think it can go. That would be a start.
220 Emptied suitcases, put everything away or in washing

Trying to sell a few bits on Gumtree and Marketplace and I've got to a point with one person who said they were available to pick up any time this week depending on when was convenient for us. And now they're saying they'll send a deposit through and then send a company to pick up and then will transfer the rest of the money. Original ad clearly stated "cash on collection". So I'm thinking they're a scammer. Hoping it doesn't happen with the other stuff I'm trying to get rid of.
I hope I'm not being paranoid but I just think that the company would show up and take stuff and then either the final payment never come or if it did they would reclaim it as if I never supplied the goods they were buying.
