2 more books went last Sunday.
I've also given back 2 books I've borrowed from people today.
I've 2 packs of seeds decluttered yesterday onto the tiny patch at the front, I will be gradually decluttering flower seeds onto the patch, but will update when I do.
I've 2 items pending, a bag of veg/herb seeds and an item for Kung Fu I bought mistakenly thinking I needed it for when I do Tai chi.

Trying to keep up with the train rattling along. Been away for the weekend with old school friends - can't believe we'e known each other decades! Lovely staying at one friend's and her home is so calm and tidy! meant that I came home, and have put 3 level arch files, several sets of folders and wallets together for bank of things, 3 unopened sewing patterns and books of knitting things that I won't make in the ongoing CS bag, a note book recycled and some paper taken our for scrap and some other paper declutter.
Went to see a film after work last week as well and going to birmingham to see DD2 on Wed so really want to spend time being with friends and families and not looking for things or sorting things. I know that there is much to do so if I can make real inroads to physical stuff this year and then photos etc realistically another time. Also one item sold, packaged and posted and hopefully will just put those that haven't sold I will just take to CS this week.
new total 330.
Have a lot of frogs to move on so going to focus on that, although found a stash of vintage plates in a cupboard upstairs so now in D/washer and hopefully others will be added to CS bag to take tomorrow.
My friends stayed with me around 10 years ago and realise I couldn't host at the moment, as all rooms would be needed and my sister in law stayed while I was a away at short notice and hope she didn't go in to my many rooms of doom
Take care all x20 -
Adding to the total 3 old magazines, 1 plastic cup, 1 old bead string cat toy.
We had a big old list of things to get done, but ended up doing some necessary procrastination and grieving. Went for a drive to get some air. We got some decent steps in and I managed to shift a pain that's been lodged in my ribs since I drank the other night after getting the bad news.
I've also done loads of cleaning tonight. Things just get really grotty, really quickly and it makes me feel shame.
I'm just grateful that we have decluttered enough to get to a shelf we couldn't easily reach before and I was able to just peruse some healthy recipes before making my meal plan and shopping list.Keep reading books!

Sunday seems to have been a lovely sunny morning but I only got up 14:10 still feeling rather grotty 😔 DSis isn’t feeling too good either with stomach pains & bruising due to the blood thinner injections when she was in hospital 😔. However her breathing issues seem to have been resolved 😊 - she has retired to her room. DH is also not feeling so great & he is now having a long relaxing bath………….. he is out & feeling a lot better 😊 I have just watched the last 2 episodes of Doctor Who that were shown over Christmas. Not too sure I will bother with the new series though 🤨 Another lazy day - DSis had roasted chicken pieces, DH had bacon, tomatoes & garlic bread & I had toast & garlic bread.

Hi all couple so so days here
. On Saturday I sorted washing so 3 LDFPA and 2 loads through the machine. I watched the footy and did some knitting. Today I have put the flour into a plastic zip bag and into the freezer, had a tidy in the kitchen, emptied the bathroom bin and then as the sun was out I ventured into the garden and did a bit of a tidy. Our garden waste bin collections start again in 2 weeks and I am aiming to get it full by then. As it was so nice I had coffee over the fence with ln and we have decided we will share our garden waste bin this year. The council have put up the charge from £40 to £50 which I think is a bit steep in these expensive times so we will trial sharing this year. To be honest ln never fills her bin as her garden is very much under control whereas I tend to fluctuate between ramming it in and then being completely empty
. I do sometimes end up taking a bag of garden waste to the tip but that is usually from OH's garden but if I go mad and end up with loads I'll just take it to the tip. We will see how it goes this year. I was very pleased to see the rose cuttings I had taken at the back end of last year are doing very well. I did loads as we have been asked for some by the niece who has a corner house with a tall wall and wants to put them on the outside of the wall, which is her property but for some reason the wall was built about 2 ft inside her boundary. The rose is a rambler and 3 will easily cover the wall once they are established. What I am going to do with the rest I have no idea but I am sure someone will have them
. After tea I did some more knitting. I think I have 4 more rows to do but each row takes about 30 minutes as I am knitting it lengthways. Anyway it will be finished by Thursday when I am meeting up with some ex colleagues and it is a gift for one of them so will be out of the house
. I took a photo of my last blanket but it's still on my phone so I will post it when I have finished the scarf and taken a photo of that
. We have also spent quite a lot of time organising a little holiday. We bought a friend and her son vouchers for the hawk walk we did last year as her son who has MH issues really likes birds. Anyhow we said if they booked it and it was a good time for us we could maybe meet up as we want to do it again
. This turned into a hunt for accommodation as we need 3 bedrooms, friend's son is mid 30s so not ideal for bedroom sharing. Upshot is we are now hopefully going away for a week at the start of June staying in a 3 bedroom cabin which works out at £20 pnpp which is really cheap compared to other accommodation we looked at. Fingers crossed it all works out
@Vulpix beautiful bag, I really love the tapestry
@QueenJess I really don't know what to suggest, you are obviously so stressed by it all. Your children are a bit young to be taking responsibility for keeping their rooms tidy without help even though your ds does seem to be getting the hang of it
. Hang in there and I am sure they will be able to help in a couple of years
. As for the stuff your parents bring is there a way you could put the stuff they bring into the garage or somewhere the children don't see it, not new clothes or birthday / Christmas gifts, so you can sort it before they see it. I know you will still have to sort it but at least you won't have to deal with the children wanting to play with it etc and maybe your parents will get the message. Just a thought. I think taking stuff to dd's nursery is a good idea as I know from experience toys don't last long in those settings
providing they are happy to take them. As for books if they are in reasonable condition they could also go to the nursery maybe. I am also wondering when you get time to do things for you. Maybe you should take some time to do something you enjoy on a regular basis even if it's just going for a walk. I am thinking that as you are wfh that you spend a lot of time in the house and so those things that annoy you are always in front of you iyswim. If you can build in say a half hour walk during your lunch break and get away from it for a while it might help with your stress. Hugs
@Muddy_Walker hope your cold is on it's way out soon.hugs.
@Siebrie what a great idea for your village, hope you have lots of sales
Right off to bed now, hugs to anybody who would like one

I have over 500 posts to catch up on, so will... probably just rejoin from here. I hope everyone is well and offering love to whoever wants it.
I have been busy IRL, and have tackled some enormous frogs.- I have decluttered my garage and filled a tonne bag with rubbish that is no longer needed / broken / extraneous / irritating me.
- I have painted my kitchen and it is gloriously pink.
- I have made just shy of half my Vinted target for the year thanks to The Great Attic Purge.
- I have stripped the carpet off my stairs... an impulse that appears to have paid off as they are in quite good condition and I have my eye on a fabulous zebra print runner... another couple of weekends and a couple of pounds spent and the downstairs of my house should be done.
- I have set myself up weekly food shopping with Asd* to recur every Sunday at 12. This in turn has reduced silly spending, and reduced food waste.
- I decluttered my job and moved over to my new job. I have been here for a fortnight and it is going rather well.
However, I still need to tackle the sheds for decluttering, get rid of the accumulated junk I have jettisoned, decide if I can actually get away with painting my bedroom orange, list yet more stuff on Vinted, buy my daughter a new wardrobe as she has shot up again, fill in my PIP form, type up the notes for my voluntary job.... the list is ENDLESS, as always.
