A brief pop in. Still poorly but getting on the mend. Just spent 4 days in the TLC carriage. I have caught up with all my K dramas,
Nothing has moved forward, as in accomodationf for BiL and SiL. I knew moving away would not help that way but we have sorted some frogs. More paperwork to sort yet.
Swapped DS2 out of his nana and grandads house so his BiL and SiL could stay. He has been doing the same as the cuckoo guy but MiL didn't tell us there was a proper problem util she left for her trip. He is in financial trouble with friends and family just now. He is going to have to sort himself out.
Three bags have gone out in online sales thanks to DD. I have no energy for that sort of stuff right now.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. 1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
To round off my Sunday I managed to snap the toilet flush 😔 - thank goodness we have a 2nd toilet downstairs 😮💨 I managed almost 3 hours sleep before I woke myself up coughing, then once I managed to get back to sleep I managed about another 1.5 hours 😔 Still feeling very blergh 😩 but decided to get up & have my first mug of tea, in the hopes of feeling slightly more human. I left DH in bed & there is no sign of DSis yet. It is a damp start to Monday as it rained earlier & is currently overcast (11:05) One advantage of the very odd weather is that our neighbour’s cherry tree is in full pink blossom 🌸 which brightens up our close considerably 😊 DH is up & has checked in the garage to see if we have a spare toilet flush - no joy, so is ordering on Click & Collect. The sun has come out 😊
Liverpool_Anne, sounds more like a pretty good weekend rather than “so so” 😊 Just wondering how your council can justify a 25% price increase for the garden waste bin 😠 oh, silly me - they don’t think they have to justify it 😉 Now I am wondering if they will lose money as other people might very well decide to share a bin 🤔 Fingers crossed that the hawk walk holiday works out & that you have good weather 🤞 Some lovely comments in the 2nd half of your post 😊 Re the flour you have put in the freezer - does it have flour mites? If yes, how long do you keep it in the freezer & how many times do you sieve it once it comes out? I tried googling but there seem to be as many answers as there are hours in a day 😅
wort, good idea 🙂
TheEmerald, you are very welcome 😁 I think I could manage the Aristocrats performance - they came on walked around a bit & made weird noises 🤣 Great decluttering 👏
Liverpool_Anne, no blood clot but apparently hospitals seem to automatically give blood thinners if there is any indication or potential that one might form 😥 In DSis’s case the antibiotics weren’t working as quickly as they expected 😔
Soontobeoap, excellent work sorting out craft stuff 👏
foxandflowers, the EDT is still charging along at breakneck speed, so no worries about not reading 500 posts 😉 Excellent work dealing with such large frogs - decorating, decluttering & a new job 🤩👏 A Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way + I am also sending a medal🏅 for continuing & being successful with your V*nted sales 😊 Good luck with your next round of tackling the ‘Endless’ list 🍀
EnergyShifter, remember you cannot actually fall off the EDT 😉 All that happens is that you get stuck in the last carriage which is surrounded by netting & then once RL has settled down a bit you can work your way through the carriages as far as the TLC Carriage, make use of all the facilities on offer & once rejuvenated you can start your next round of decluttering 😊 Although as you are so tired at the moment, might I suggest stopping off at the sleep pods for a while prior to the TLC Carriage visit 🙏
Lovely post vulpix, especially your observations about QueenJess 😊 Not too sure it was a ‘boost’ that my nephew phoned but eternal optimist that I am, hopefully he will start to repay the money & bridges can slowly be rebuilt 🤞 It sounds like MrV didn’t quite know what he was looking for 😅 so great news that the picture finally turned up 😊 Good luck with your ‘list’ 🍀 Excellent news that Saint Rachael 😇 has been on the case & is quickly sorting out MrV’s scan & consultant appointment 🥳 Shame that other people aren’t so conscientious or efficient 😔
Excellent work Siebrie 👏You have done such a lot over the past few weeks, that I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ to add to your medals 😊
Foofoopuppy, sometimes the only thing to do with plants is cut your losses 😞 Good luck with both your spinach growing & reviving your basil plant 🍀 Sorry to hear about Mr Puppy’s broken wrist 😔 I hope it wasn’t his dominant hand 🤞
Lovely post Moorviews 😊 I do think, that lovely as our husbands are/can be, when it comes to looking for things it has to be something they want to find 😂 Thanks for the flowers 💐 & ☕️ & your kind wishes re my DSis 👏
Wednesday2000, excellent decluttering & cleaning 👏 I am studiously avoiding “Earlyretirementwanderlust” - I don’t really need any more excuses to avoid decluttering 🤣
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 How exciting that you have set the wheels in motion for your move by getting EAs booked for valuations 🥳 Hopefully with all the decluttering you have planned it will give you a good start on your weight loss 🤞 Sounds like both the vase & the silk flowers can go 😉
Brie, sad to say I agree with daisy_1571 & foxandflowers - really does sound like a potential scam 😔
bit_by_bit, pleased to hear that you are on the mend ❤️🩹 Although I think that once you have made any progress on the family issues, you should go back to the TLC Carriage & make sure you are fully recovered before continuing to tackle said family issues 🙏 Well done to your DD for keeping up with the selling - a medal 🏅 is on its way 😊 Meanwile I am sending you cwtches 🤗 & 💐
All caught up so I will post this & then get dressed + DH should be back soon from picking up the new toilet flush.

@Brie there should be an option to report & block that person, it definitely sounds like a scam. To be honest I rarely put things on Fb marketplace, and only when it's something I know I can get rid of quickly (cheap w/m or tumble dryer for example).

Update on potential scam. I told the chap cash on collection only and he has agreed to come along with the pick up van to collect and pay at the same time. A bit of chat - he is a big fan of ercol (it's a 5 year old ercol sofa we're getting rid of) and he really wants it as it's a good price (excellent price actually). I feel more confident that it's legit given he's agreed to be here and to pay cash. Will send up the bat signal if it all goes toes up.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Hello all, DH decided to tidy the office without any nagging 😲 He put in the cs bag a pair of headphones, a brand new set of headphones which came free with a computer, plus a spare car tyre pump, no idea why the latter was in the office 🤷♀️ the mind boggles at that one. He also filled a carrier bag with rubbish but left that on top of the empty bin. Oh well Rome wasn't built in a day. Meanwhile I sorted and cleaned my kitchen cupboard which holds glasses and found 2 mugs hidden at the back of a top shelf, both are now in the cs bag, no wonder all my glasses wouldn't fit in there.
I stripped the chicken from yesterday's roast and made a sweet chilli chicken and noodle stir fry, mmmm delicious.
Brie hopefully the man will be genuine.
MrsSD hopefully MrSD will be flushed with success. I'll get my coat 🤣Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently20 -
@Foofoopuppy, sorry to hear about Mr Puppy, sounds v painful.
I managed to trip over the open dishwasher door, not noticing it at all and went flying, lots of purple bruises and feeling sorry for myself. So didn't get out at lunchtime. And haven't done any frogs except got blood test form and work!20 -
Hello all. Thanks for my medal @mrssaladdodger. Didn't manage a swim today as most of the day was taken up viewing properties and yes, we have found one that we are going to offer on tomorrow. So great excitement here
Swim will happen tomorrow in the afternoon. I'm pleased to hear that Salad Sisters son has been in contact, the relationship sounds like it needs some mending
@wishus I was sorry to hear of your sudden loss and I send you love.

Thanks for the well wishes all.
It has been a strange day, very busy and I was glad of it. Working from home tomorrow, but plenty to do.
I popped 4 big D batteries in the recycling box at the shop, not counting in my total. I am counting 1 plastic cup, relocated to the office, where it can serve me usefully for my water, instead of the diddy dishwasher-scratched office glasses.Keep reading books!
