@Brambling we are similar ages, with May birthdays 😁
I've found five more things:
Brooch
Necklace
Perfume I tried to like, but really don't
Worn out handbag that should have gone in the bin ages ago
Random bits of ribbon from dressing table drawer
Now up to 85 🎊🎉🎊Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

Good evening. Lots of posts from very busy people. Makes me feel very lazy.
I live on my own with an old cat. Only a flat so not much housework. Just a lot of clutter!
257. Cleaned and tidied fridge. 2 limp carrots thrown out.
258.Washing folded up and put away.
259-260. Bins emptied and recycling put out.
261-284. E-bay sales posted. Cupboard of doom looking better.
285-286. Made 2 cards from stash.
Good night.

Moorviews said:More jars and bottles emptied from the fridge. When cleaning the fridges I generally move all the bottles and jars out, then move them all back in again. I know it is taking me an age but I struggle to throw food away that looks edible. I’m now going by the “do I really want to eat this?” mantra, in order to move myself forward.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Wow the handbags look great, i have handbag envy, i have 1.ooh actually 2, one in a lighter colour but exactly the same as my blue one. Passed on to me from my sister when she died and I can't bring myself to use it.😢 I will keep it until such time as I want to use it. It's not going anywhere!
So anyway, seeing the handbags made me realise I need another one! 😍One for evenings, when you don't want a full size bag. So i have been on vinted and treated myself to a black velvet one! I know we are meant to be removing stuff, i will find 2 things to leave the house for the 1 coming in,!! 😁♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Floss, incomers have to live here 5 years before they can become a member of a Jarl squad. They have only lived here 3 years. The squad is a secret until today, they do know a lot of people involved though. The procession has taken all day and evening, culminating in 800 people throwing flaming torches into the boat. All night parties are now in progress. DD and BF are expected home about 7am. There is live music, dance, food and visits from the jarl squads who do a “ turn “. The dress code is very fancy, think ladies day. It is very much like Christmas Day tomorrow. Every where closed. Good job. The weather is forecast 90mph winds. Here is a before and after picture.:27

Thanks for stamp.suggestions, I live within a 7 min walk of 5 cs places ! And the oxfam is within 12 mins along with another.... hence easy for.me to take stuff but also acquire!

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DH & DSis got back about 18:00 - trouble with the tube so came home by bus 😔 Within 2 minutes of walking through the door they each had a hot drink & a bacon sandwich 😊 Both very excited about the car 😝 DH has booked himself 6 hours of refresher lessons (he passed his test 7 years ago 😉) Dinner wasn’t until 20:15 - breaded fish, oven chips & pease pudding for DH & me. Wudupa.
DSis have been watching a tv channel called That’s TV but only loads of episodes of a series called That’s 80’s - The Best Music. Some great songs reminding us of when we were young 😅

Excellent decluttering Liverpool_Anne 👏 with the bonus of finding ‘a treasure’ 🥳 Ouch to the broken tooth 😣 but so typical that it happened after your usual dentist appointment 😔
Fizz2015, sorry to hear that OH & DD are unwell 🤒 Also sorry to hear that work is so busy & likely to get even busier 😔 I never understand why companies think ‘cost savings’ that lead to extra pressures on staff are a good idea 🤨 The best cost saving would be to reduce senior management’s salaries 😉 but of course that would never happen 😅 Please save as much energy as possible for your managerial responsibilities & to keep your work stress levels as low as possible 🙏 Perhaps other members of your household could step up & do some decluttering & tidying 🤞or is that too much to hope for 😉
London_1, so one neighbour you won’t be sad to see the back of 😅 One thing though, I would bet that the council are probably sick of her phoning up for petty infractions 😉 What do people do if they have to leave for work before 07:00? Condolences to your friend. Good luck with the Family History boxes 🍀 Hope you managed to get a table at Dobbies 🤞
GrannyKate, what an unexpected & lovely bonus getting to spend time with your 14 y.o. GS 😊 Some good decluttering especially finally releasing the rug to a new life 👏
oceanspirit, keeping on top of the day to day decluttering & tidying & preventing any backlog from becoming larger is an important part of the Decluttering Journey 👏 😊 So well done on keeping going & please accept a medal 🏅
QueenJess, thanks for the very useful information about posting to charities 👏
Deni_debt-free_dreamer, every decluttering session helps & when you are so busy earning a living you should celebrate all your wins 👏😊
D123456789, the thing with going back to the same places is that you can always find more to declutter 😉 + you are building up your decluttering muscles in preparation for tackling a new area of clutter 😊 Keeping my fingers crossed that you have continued success on V*nted 🤞
Gers, thanks for mentioning wall mounted magnetic boards 👏
Brie, fingers crossed that the rug is fine & can be used as insulation 🤞I would love to be a fly on the wall when OH tries to find his clothes 😈 sorry 😉 Good luck with the orange juice down the toilet 🍀 Please let us know if it works 🙏
Brie, good luck with however you decide to store your knives 🍀
Gers, thanks for the recommendation re magnetic knife racks 👏 I will have to investigate though not sure I have any wall space 😔
bit_by_bit, pleased to hear that you have almost recovered from the virus & cough 😊 Great work decluttering the tax return 👏 a medal 🏅 is on its way. Excellent decluttering as well - especially the micro jobs 👏
Excellent work decluttering the pantry cupboard & fridge Moorviews 👏
Great decluttering Rootle 👏
Good luck with your repainting frog 🍀flamingo747
vulpix, that looks like Jimmy’s house 😊
TheDoolallyDilly, the stars certainly are aligned to be able to get a face to face appointment with a doctor 🤩 As you are doing so much digital decluttering which takes time & effort, perhaps you should be counting that 🤔 e.g. 50 emails deleted = 1, 20 unsubscribed = 1. Some great decluttering 👏flamingo747, well done on completing the painting job 👏 Sorry to hear about the rent increase 😔 Fingers crossed that the dog won’t need a trip to the vets 🤞
Wednesday2000, some lovely looking handbags & they look so much better all lined up neatly 😊
Thanks daisy_1571 😊
Excellent decluttering of handbags, scarves & footwear Brambling 👏 Perhaps you could send photos to your sister so she can decide what she wants 🤔 The rest can go straight to the CS 😉 Great work chipping away at the pension frog 👏 Bosses can be selectively deaf when it comes to their staff giving them plenty of warning of their intention to retire 😂 My DH gave his bosses a year’s notice & although they persuaded him to stay for an extra 3 months they were still surprised when he actually left 🤣
Excellent decluttering Moorviews 👏 I love your new mantra “do I really want to eat this” 😊 I think I might have to tweak it to “do I really want to wear this” 🤣 might help me to thin out the t-shirts in my wardrobe 🤞With a car the 3 of us have no excuses not to visit DB & his family in Germany 😊
Great work TheDoolallyDilly 👏 You are getting there 😊
Great decluttering ilovetea 👏
Floss - quinoa, couscous what are they 🤣 Thanks for the Up Helly Aa link 😊
~FlowerPot~ three handbags - is that all 😉 I think you might need a couple more 😊
Stunning photos vulpix 🤩 Oh the joy of youth - partying until 7.00 a.m. 😊
Off to bed now as not only finally caught up but have also noticed the time 😱
