I unsubscribed from another two mailing lists, and my email inbox is now at under 500 🎊🎉🎊 Some of those were moved to folders (and will be sorted out next) but most were deleted. I had to read some old emails from a very difficult time, which wasn't fun, but it's getting easier.

decluttered a carrier bag of old uniform from 3 years ago. kept for a while just incase DD went to that school, but didnt. So handed back to the school to add to their secind hand uniform stock. The ruby shirt / short had never even been worn, due to covod and home learning!!! So that a bag gone from under the stairs phew ~ thank you to ds2 who cycled 20 odd miles to hand it in and then he back back by train!!

Crazycatlady, sorry to read about your kitchen arguments.

Going through bedroom drawer has yielded a pair of gloves for the next CS run.  Decs now put away so just paper, gift tags and cards to go through now.

Will go to library van next week rather than buy new books from CS as am loving the space from letting some go and could do with some easy reads for bedtime reading.  

Have mislaid a pile of filing - no doubt it will turn up but am confused as to why I can’t remember where I put it when I had it only yesterday.  Oh well.

Just off to have another little bedroom tidy up.

That's a shame daisy1571, we were pleasantly surprised to find it on there. If we hadn't exchanged clubcard points we wouldn't currently have it either.

I didn't get much done today as had to pick dd2 up from school as she had a temperature before lunch. Thankfully some calp0l has tackled it so far.
I did manage to sort out some boxes for the 3 dcs memory boxes (we had empty boxes in our Swedish store 5x5 unit) and spent some time organising them. So that is 3 frogs taken care of and a medium storage box to be taken to the re-use part of the tip.  Going to have another night on the Roman outfit and it will be finished 😁

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January

2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m 

3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis

4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter

6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed 

I had a burst of activity whilst DH was out shopping 😉 Firstly I emptied the 2 shelves in the double under sink cupboard, cleaned the shelves & returned contents ‘tidily’ - listing as I went along. I must have done a proper job last time as I only got rid of one cleaning product which has been donated to DH 😉 Fingers crossed he can find a use for it 🤞 but if not it will be binned 😔 Now I just have to start using the cleaning products 🤣 Dealt with my mail whilst having a coffee & then returned to the kitchen & FINALLY cleaned & sorted out my fridge 🥳 Only had to bin the contents of one small glass jar which has been washed & recycled. DH arrived home so I unpacked the bags & put everything away immediately. As to the garage door, no replies yet from the original 2 companies, so DH has offered the job to a few more companies 🤞

DH has just prepped most of the vegetables for tonight’s dinner - cabbage, carrots & half the potatoes, whilst I glazed the pie, cooked mushrooms & did the other half of the potatoes. 

mehefin, it is absolutely in line with the thread - decluttering your ‘home away from home’ 😊 Although you are not allowed to count in your numbers 🤣 I am full of admiration for all the hard work you & the other volunteers have & are putting in reviving your community library 🤩 All I can hope is that someone has been keeping a pictorial record showing the various stages of the refurbishment. This could then be incorporated into the history of the community library as part of a mini exhibition for the Grand Re-opening 😊 I can almost imagine 153 boxes but am struggling to get my head around 5.2 tonnes 🙀 Very impressed that nothing went to the scrap man or landfill 🥹

vulpix, it sounds like MrV has had a very successful decluttering session 👏 Hopefully yours will be just as successful 😊 It is such a shame about the evening dresses 😔 Just wondering if you are handy with a needle & could perhaps alter your favourite one to fit 🧐 Sadly my sewing skills only extend to a bit of darning & hemming 😔

1 carboot full of cardboard and styrofoam from new wardrobe, and some other bits and pieces.

Two years ago we found an electric bike at the side of the road with a sign 'free, but has an issue with (can't remember, sorry)', and we took it home. I've been looking for a place that has this brand, and finally, a few months ago, a bike shop with that brand opened in our village. I wanted to take the bike there, but husband has misplaced the charger! It was in a bag, hanging from the handle bars! How can you lose that?

Anyway, he won't be here this weekend, so I'm hoping to get lots done with just dds around and doing their own thing.

Nothing to report today because I've done nothing!.
Apart from the basics like washing up and making the bed.  Spent time reading ang listing things on e-bay.
Never mind. Tomorrow is another day.

@daisy_1571 and @Mrs_Salad_Dodger just to mention that all 6 series of Lost and all 4 series of Heroes are available via mail order as DVD and Blu-ray box sets - all the episodes in one place. And it's easier to have a physical copy than be beholden to the whims of the streaming companies... Well, as long as you have a DVD player or drive on your computer. 
Not that I'm trying to tempt anyone.
