I'm a lady but will take that!
Coupon-Mad, This is what I have sent to DCBL this afternoon. I have no doubt they make it as tricky as possible to contact them directly as even visiting the DCBL website immediately asks you 'have you received a letter' with no way to click out of it... Why must they be so shady?
Hopefully it puts my point across enough to have them leave me alone, although I don't have much faith in them simply just leaving it be from some of the threads I have read on here regarding them pursuing the matter until a minute to midnight.

    Anyway... the email reads.

    'To Whom it May concern.

Please be see the attached image as proof of my previous employment, An email from my previous employer with evidence of the local agreement in place regarding parking at the location and correspondence with Euro Carparks dated the 12/06/2023 informing them that I did not receive any correspondence from them.

The vehicle *******, was allegedly parked at the location incorrectly on multiple occasions between 2019-2021. At the time of the alleged offence, As the registered keeper of the vehicle, I did not receive any correspondence from Euro car parks informing me that the vehicle had been parked incorrectly.

Subsequently at the end of last year, I received correspondence from ZZPS who were the first to inform me about the matter.

I reached out to Euro Car parks on the 12/06/2024 and made them aware of the local agreement and that I did not receive any correspondence from Euro carparks at the time of the alleged breach. Euro Carparks informed me that they were no longer responsible for the matter and it had been passed to ZZPS.

The below correspondence coupled with the email and image attached detailing the local agreement in place between Wickes and *insert my old business premises* allowing staff to park their vehicles at the retail site, was submitted and I did not hear anything further from ZZPS. It would appear that Euro Carparks have now passed the matter to yourselves.

please be aware, that in addition to the correspondence and images I have provided regarding the vehicle being parked at Wickes, DCBL and Euro Carparks are now in breach of BPA CoP clause 23 which requires a new PCN to be issued, and debt recovery paused, in cases where it is known that the first PCN was not received.

My MP, The financial Ombudsman and the BPA have all received correspondence regarding this matter.

    Regards'

Are you dealing with DCBL or DCB Legal? Two separate entities (same organisation) and if DCBL, why are you even communicating with them?

Is you MP still going to be employed as one after the election?

It’s DCBL. They are a nothing company I assume? Euro carparks have apparently palmed off their BS onto them after ZZPS or whoever were given the information above and left me alone at the end of last year.

it’s been 6 months and I haven’t heard anything and then received a letter from DCBL followed by another around 30 days later but nothing of note other than ‘you may get a CCJ’ and ‘we may take further action if you don’t pay’ etc etc.

As for my MP, she’s about 99% going to remain in her current position.

So, go back and re-read the second post of the Newbies/FAQ thread so you know what to do if/when you receive a Letter of Claim, probably from DCB Legal (not DCBL).

Ignore DCBL and any other debt collector.

Sadly, I’ve already taken coupon mad’s advice and told them to politely sod off as per the email above.

To be honest, I’m not exactly blown away by their headed letters claiming they’ve been on ‘can’t pay take it away’ but thought simply providing the information to them couldn’t hurt.

it would appear that ZZPS had given up after being provided the facts of the matter. I can only hope DCBL decide to give up too.

Whilst their letters are some what humorous, the last thing I want is for them to send round a couple of idiots that my dog decides to maul. As that opens up a whole other can of worms. Lol.

But they can't "just send round" bailiffs. That would require the whole court process to have been completed, you lost, you didn't pay the CCJ and it was for more than £600 and they had applied for a writ of control.

Yes, you are dealing with idiots or, what I prefer to call them, the intellectually malnourished. DCBL, ZZPS/GCTT, DRP et al, are simply unable to do anything. They cannot take you to court, they cannot do anything. All they can d o is hope you are low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree and will poop your pants at the mention of scary words like "bailiff" or "CCJ" and capitulate into a quivering mess of doo doo and pay into their little scam.

Communicating with them, gives them orgasms at the thought that they may have a piece of low-hanging fruit within reach. Nothing you write to them about registers in their tiny minds. They simply don't care. You only encourage them to mark you as a "mug" for further pressure by responding to them. Ignore them.

Replying to wind them up does no harm and is just as good as ignoring them IMHO.

I like to have a bit of fun with PPC & DRA goons.  They cannot send anyone round.  This isn't bailiff stage despite their company name.

this merry-go-round of Shady 'debt collectors' never ends. An email I sent in October 2023 has only just been replied to by ZZPS stating that they are still expecting payment... what a load of !!!!!! this is.

Another 'Final Reminder' letter received from DCBL. Last letter received was headed with 'FINAL REMINDER'.

This is not headed 'FINAL NOTICE' before they send it back to euro-carparks I assume? Is there no law stopping these firms from harassing me like this?

I assume in the next couple of months I am likely to expect a letter through the door notifying me of the beginning of a legal claim against me?
It would appear the have completely ignored the email I sent to them telling them to jog on as recommended by Coupon-Mad.

Now that Parliament has reconvened, my MP has been notified and the matter has been flagged to the BPA. I cannot believe I am still being chased over this matter.

Have you still got all the letters that you told us about in 2023:
I came home from work one afternoon about 4 months ago and was greeted with a stack approx. 50 odd letters all from GCTT telling me I owed them vast sums of money and that they would be sending bailiffs around within 7 days if I didn't pay all of the tickets.
probably about a week later, The same thing. I came home and found a stack of around 50 letters all the ZZPS all stating the same thing.
Both stacks of letters demanding money and threatening with bailiff action were in relation to alleged parking violations that occurred between 2018 - 2020/Jan 2021.

Please could you spread them on the floor and take a photo like this poster did with far fewer:

Also a pic of them all stacked up next to a house brick (or a mug) for size context would be visually impactful.

I'm in regular touch with the DLUHC guys & gals and would love to show the new Government Ministers YOUR pictures, as I already have shown them the above image.
