I have ordered the same pair of boots 6 times......I keep getting my order cancelled because they have no stock...so why can I re-order it on a daily basis?......to quote their own advertising ethos......this is no ordinary orderinging system...this is M&S ordering:rotfl:

For anyone in Birmingham. I have just got back from the Fort shopping centre, the m & s there are now marking sale things down again, I got £40 trousers down to £9 they went through the till at £5 :j They have some fabulous reductions now, but the best I saw were sadly not my size! Gorgeous velvet coats down to £15 , lots of limited collection stuff, really nice going out gear,rails of trousers, skirts, heaps of tops, and fab jackets. There seemed to be loads of clothes in size 8 and 20 . Menswear is quite poor, they were at the end of ladies wear. Upstairs there are racks of children's clothes reduced. Undies are upstairs too, but not much left now.

I ordered 3 items the other day when prices were reduced again. I phoned to check if the items were in stock and was told that 2 of the items were but the game wasn't and to prevent a delay it needed to be cancelled. I then went back and ordered the game (pokerface) as a seperate item in case it came back in stock. I have just checked and the game has gone to dispatching soon and the other items are still waiting!!! It will be interesting to see if it arrives.

I hope you are going through Quidco as they appear to still give you the full cashback if they cancel your order

I have just rang customer services as still waiting for my Christmas Day order (expected 22nd Jan onwards now) and they say it's still coming!! Also that my other 3 orders (yes I was brave and placed 3 more hoping to get something after the further reductions) are all still going through ok.

I have in the meantime purchased some of these items so will be returning them instore pretty pronto but I have my fingers crossed that somebargains will be turning up!!

Loads of clearance bargains at my local M&S! Got loads of trousers which fit for £5!!!! But when i got home notice the till assistant put through a pair of trousers for £19 which i did not buy when she scanned them - but the silly woman has forgot to remove the item from the receipt hence i got charged the £19 Any suggestions what i should do??

Oh good, that gives me some hope that I will get my orders that were placed on Christmas Day. They have just been sitting there in my account saying not yet despatched, but due to be delivered 8th -10th Jan. Just hope they turn up or I will be livid!

I would phone the branch, right now, and explain what happened, what till you went to and give any code numbers/staff name on the reciept. It would be easier for the desk to check with the staff member concerned before she goes off shift for the day, so hopefully you're in time to catch her. Get the name of the desk person you speak to as well and go in as soon as possible to get the refund done.

Of course, they could just say "no" if they can't trace it, but in this case I personally would kick up a bit of fuss before giving up.

Something similar happened to me a while ago I rang the store - number on receipt - and they put me through to a supervisor who thankfully believed me & made a note of my name etc & I asked for her when I was able to get back I got my money back.
Really hope that it works for you

i just managed to get thro to the store as it was closing, explained what happened - they did not take my name down but said i should pop in tommorow. Although i will be happy to get my cash back but do they give any compensation for the inconvience i.e getting to town, parking etc?
