I had a great time in Edinburgh Princes St today. I arrived just as they were wheeling out the racks of reduced childrens stuff...embroidered t-shirt twin packs for £1, girls school trousers for £2, gorgeous double-layered cotton peasant skirts for £5 etc etc. Crap? Well, I don't see it that way. I don't waste my money on buying the latest trendy stuff five minutes after it's hit the shelves, usually. Two weeks out of date is fine for me, especially at 75% off.Val.0

I got all my orders today - hurrah! I placed them on Christmas afternoon - but I ordered body stuff, and mainly men's jumpers and other accessories, no women's clothes. Couple of kids' clothes, though.
Really hope everyone else gets theirs. *crosses fingers*
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Many thanks Scorchio - have just placed an order for some pencil cases - at that price they're a great start for the shoe box appeal boxes I do - if they turn up of course!! - fingers crossed! :rolleyes:0

Apparently they do a stock check every 15 mins. So there is only a 15 minute window of misfortune when ordering.0 -

Just placed two orders online - mainly nightwear, socks, jeans etc for my little boy. Used the £10.00 credit that they kindly gave me for my last disasterous order - lets see what items I get (if any!!!!!!!).
Own up who had my £1.00 scooby doo pj's and transformers stationery sets before I had chance to check out ...... all's fair in love and bargain hunting.0 -
Arghhh - 2 emails today from M&S!
One order is now below £30 an incurring P&P charges (dropped from £58).
I am destined not to get the jogging bottoms that have been in and out of my various orders since Christmas Day.
Luckily I bought some at a great reduction in BHS today - while everyone was picking through the dribs and drabs in my local M&S I took a look in BHS and found some real bargains. Jogging bottoms from £16 to £4.80 and fitness tee shirt from £12 to £3.60.:j0
