Morning everyone
Hugs and good luck vibes for those who need them.
Completing the pension application form yesterday took far longer than I expected. They needed some financial information from 7/8 years ago. Cue lots of searching through dusty files, cabinet drawers and piles of fading paper. Finally found it so completed the form and emailed it off (didn't need to post it).
Decided that there was no point in putting all the dusty papers back if they were no longer needed (old mortgage statements etc. when I paid off the mortgage 8 years ago!). So much sorting, sifting and shredding went on - just as well it's recycling bin day today.
It was quite nostalgic though. I was paying 6.75% fixed rate in 2002. Then I was persuaded to change to a 1% above BOE base rate mortgage for the rest of the term in about 2004. This deal had no 'collar' so I was really lucky when the 2008 crash came and my interest rate fell to 1.5% in 2009 and remained really low for the rest of my mortgage term.
Bedding was washed, dried and put back on my bed so that was nice to snuggle into clean sheets last night as the rain lashed down again. We've had a thunder storm here this morning.
Today I need to do my Mr T order and sweep and dust the living room which is looking a bit shabby with ash on the hearth and dog hair tumbleweed under the coffee table.
Have a lovely day.

Morning all x
Had a lovely day out with DD yesterday, despite train delays and cancellations.
Today, I’m off to a flying start - bedding stripped and just about to finish in the wm, bed remade, dw emptied, filters cleaned and now running it through with some white vinegar in it, WULTD, clean washing sorted, hair washed. I think that the rest of the day will be sorting out some admin, doing a couple of click and collects for DH to sort out when he is going to the major town on Thursday, and creating some order from the chaos that is the back bedroom. Should be doable if I get myself into gear.
YL, hope your day goes better than expected x

Me again......banking checked, sofa throws washed and on airers, clean one put on, bedding changed and now in WM, breakfast dishes washed, flat surfaces in bedroom dusted, hoovered through, walked dog.
For anyone who walks a dog I recommend an app called biscuit. We've just got our fifth £10 voucher of the year and all you do is switch it on when you're out walkingSpend less now, work less later.10 -
Morning all
Apparently I was a pack short of tablets in my delivery last week, it’s coming today. Had I known I would have asked them to wait until they’d got the whole prescription, given they drive it over from steel city.
I plan to do some flying today, I’m just deciding whether to have a coffee in bed or to get up and have one with my breakfast. I’m also considering asking the aged Ps if i can borrow their hot cupboard for xmas. They don’t use it. I would need to be able to lie it down to get it in the car though, but i think that should be possible. If i move the CD racks it can go in their space. Not decided where they will go though.
Hope you start to improve ASB and hope all goes smoothly YL.
Think I’ll get up…

Afternoon all, It's a very damp day here today. Unfortunately, there will not be much flying here today as I have an exam later this afternoon. So far today I got dressed, fed the animals have been doing some last minute revision.
My list for this afternoon
Attend the exam and give it my best shot.
Wrap up the present for posting
Take a trip to the post office
Declutter 100 emails from the inbox.
Declutter some of the pile at the bottom of the bed
Do some festive online shopping
Do a load of laundry
Pick DH up from work as I am borrowing his car since mine is off the road until repaired later this week (fingers crossed).
Tidy away uni course work as it is currently scattered around the living room at the moment.
Hoover the living room carpet
I think that is everything that I need to get done today. Hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday.10 -

Popped to the shops this morning, came home thoroughly cleaned the bathroom (well, my mother wouldn't have said it was thorough
) tidied the sitting room and vac'd it ,and the hall. Made lunch, washed up made a casserole for this evening as A's niece was coming over. Wrapped a Christmas present for her and her husband and another one for their son. Prepared the rest of the meal, washed up and now just got to tidy up a bit and administer eye medication x 3.
A's cousin and her husband are coming tomorrow for lunch so I've got to do it all over again, although at least I shan't have to do any cleaning or vacuuming.10 -
Hung out one load of washing whereupon it rained.
Emptied DW.
Went for a gym swim.
Got quite a few things in M&t&l&n.
Just about finished that pesky report, after a load of research about Developmental Language Disorder. Please let tomorrow's assessment be just a dyslexia one.
Did too little drum practice.
Did a few daily clean/tidy.
Went to church group. That got rid of quite a few Christmas cards from our 'ready to go' box.
CofG our first mortgage hit just over 15% at its worst. Cringe.
Hugs to all who are doing way more than I am (that's everyone). However I have only 2 more cards to write.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11
