#26 here
Usual early Xmas pay day means I’m reporting £1300 for December. Merry Christmas 🎄 everyone. I may be back before the end of the year to put a few pounds from my ISA interest which I re-invest. So if not, happy new year too.
In the new year I’m looking to increase my savings as I need a new car and looking to start a family. So I’ll be back. #7 Jellybaby reporting £400 for December
Thanks for running this challenge. It’s creeping up to my first year anniversary since I took early retirement and I’m amazed at what I’ve managed to save. It’s given me lots to think about.

And for my final update for the year;
#59 KrsyW £1,330 for December.
This was my first year of doing this challenge, and I just wanted to say a big thank you to @enthusiasticsaver and @Suffolk_lass for all of your hard work and efforts in running this and keeping it up to date.
I haven't worked out what I am doing next year yet - depending on strategy I may be aggressively boosting my pension rather than increasing my savings. I might sign up with a lower target, but that is a decision over the next few days (while I finish off the Christmas bottles!).
Signing off in this thread, and as a final word I just wanted to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to all of the savers in here. Not just those who hit or exceeded their targets, but to everyone in this thread.
Happy New Year to you all, and I may see you in 2025.Emergency Fund: £15,000/£15,000 Mortgage Overpayment Fund: £36,000/£72,000
