Not the 2024 I wanted, and very absent from MSE, but one where I was glad to have savings. Update for the year - apologies, can't see the number on the spreadsheet, but think I signed up.

    Jan - £4,000
    Feb - £8,050
    Mar - £5,289.72
    Apr - £0
    May - £0
    Jun - £300
    Jul - £0
    Aug - £0
    Sep - £0
    Oct - £0
    Nov - £1,000
    Dec - £1,000

Total: £19,639.72 - a long shot from my target, but it wasn't the year I had in mind when it started.

That is a great result.  If you have not been active on the challenge thread you were probably removed earlier on in the year which is why you cannot find your number.  Well done.

    #2 declaring £0 for December

I was technically negative this month, but spending was on a fantastic holiday and final invoices to the electrician and builder so don't want to be too disheartened with a big negative for this month.

Wishing everyone a HNY and look forward to saving with you all through 2025!

Final belated update for me on the 2024 thread. Sorry I’m late with these figures.

    End of Sept - £1,755
    End of Oct - £1,620
    End of Nov - £1,755
    End of Dec - £1,755

Puts me at £19,331.23 for the year, or 96.6% of my target £20k. Shortfall comes from getting in an additional holiday whilst the kids are young and a slow down of business, but otherwise a broadly successful year.

Number 13 TinaBallerina reporting £241.58 for October 2024. That brings me to 92% of my target by my calculations.  Happy new year to everyone on the thread!  Will be back on the 2025 thread to try again.

Apologies for the late submission - been away having fun and then waiting for interest on certain savings accounts to appear on 31 Dec

    Oct minus £1635.79
    Nov minus £2961.11
    Dec plus (hurray!) £1252.82

I've joined the 2025 challenge, and as I really should get a job soon, hopefully there will be less minus months in 2025...

Thank you as always for running these, and well done to everyone on their savings  Martin must be proud! (PS watch him on the New Year Taskmaster if you haven't already  )
