Oh yes lots of them. And still fighting with them. Have got rid of 2 DCAs. They were soooo !!!!ed off. And have now been able to come to an arrangement wit one of my original creditors to only pay what i can afford. Why we could not have not that in the first place is totally beyond me. I could have done without the stress of the DCAs the last few years. One dca wanted some money and even defaulted me even though the debt was in dispute. Naughty people. But with that one i got my charges back from Crap1. Now need to get the default removed from my credit file that the DCA put on there wrongly. Its not easy though. But while i am battling them and other DCas then that keeps me from going ever so slightly mad over my current home situation. x x

Latest update , FIRST CCA request has resulted in no response, out of time limit now. The DCA have tried ringing me , I will not answer to them. Second request, resulted in recieving within 10 days , a deed of assignment , an a copy of the Application form ! I will now wait until the time limit is up to inform them a copy of the Agrrement is required to comply ! Thirdly, DCA wrote back , recieved request 3rd Jan , now 24th ! Imforming me a copy has been request from the O C and will follow shortly , yeh right !

Sounds like things are going the we thought they would. Keep an eye on yoyr credit report though. Make sure one of them does not slap a default on you like they did with me.

Have no problem with a default , i will not be trying to obtain credit ever again ! oh and wheres me xxxx,s;)

Tootsie, I can understand yrou point of view. I do think there might be people who use it for debt avoidance purposes, but think of those who pay abysymal amount of debt which never looks like decreasing,courtesy to a lot of fancy charges pinned on to the account.
I seriously believe that its WITHIN every individual's right to see the required paperwork, including up to date statements form the creditors.

I couldn't help but laugh reading Tootsie's 'good faith' argument!! Since when lenders started to act on 'faith'?? Its all logically calculated using the shrewdest algorithms and risk-calculations! They dn't stand to loose in the worst case scenarios.
