    Regarding, 'I DO NOT acknowledge' bit, what if I DO know...would you suggest to write ' I DONOT'...and what if they have a valid CCA, ay backfiring??

    I,ve left the, I do not , bit out. It was looking like it would endup in court anyway ,cos i couldn,t meet the payments

    It does not really matter if you put it in or not - it is just a statement to 'reinforce' the fact that you do not acknowledge any debt - especially to a 'bounty hunting' dca - the National Debtline template letters do not amount to an admission of debt.
    I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
    If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

  • Dont be rash now. Why spend money on stamps. That said you could leave the stamps off and let them pay postage at their end.

    That had crossed my mind ! If one wanted to be naughty one could send them afew letters with no stamps on !!!! I would never suggest such a thing.
