Aaaaahhh right I see, at this point probably feel like almost best I should've settled and just paid the fine. Iv not had any correspondents from Gladstones though which is odd dont you think?? Or is this all sounding quite common and I'll have to go to a hearing??
You won't have had any correspondence from Gladstones because they are not involved in any way. Why have you brought them into the thread?

I've deleted me earlier reply as the OP inadvertently made me think this is a Gladstones claim!

For some reason, they also think this is a fine.  It isn't a fine.

And the OP concluded that people should just pay Gladstones claims (just because that solicitor doesn't discontinue) which is also wrong.

    Very confusing thread.

The solicitor here is useless CCJ-hunters DCB Legal so will obviously be discontinued unless the local court is Cardiff.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hey Umkomaas and Coupon-mad

Thanks for your replies, really appreciate it. The reason why I brought up the gladstones even though I'v had no correspondence from them is just purely because, in my N180 form I have received, in section D1 it is titled suitability for determination of hearing, saying would you like the hearing to just read the paper work or go to a hearing. But in the thread below about filling this form in...

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5546325/court-claim-procedure-updated-october-2016/p1

D1 is saying name your local court and then underneath is says Gladstones request special directions, which means about going to paper and not going to a face to face hearing to which I was thinking this was a similar section, but in mine as I say is called suitability for determination without a hearing. I was just wondering do I still say what the thread says and say No to going to paper and want a face to face hearing??

Also DCB Legal are from what I can tell using the Civil National Business Centre court in Northampton and not Cardiff so is that a good sign of a discontinuation??

    Thanks again guys

It actually states that Gladstones are currently including a request for special directions but if the solicitor acting for your claimant is NOT Gladstones, don't mention that.  CNBC is not a court but is the Government admin centre. when you complete YOUR N180 (DQ) you select YOUR court of choice, nothing to do with where the claimant/solicitor chooses.

Thanks Guys for your responses regarding my case. I will be posting the N180 letter back and also emailing a copy to DBC Legal and CNBC as well. Hopefully this covers all my areas needed to stick it to them!!
