Hi allJust checking in as great to see all the wonderful saving efforts are continuing. On the final hurdle now, although to be honest I've finished this years 365 Day 1p Challenge 2024. I start my challenge in September each year because I found this works best for me as from August until December my finaces can get a little strained at times and I want to enjoy saving, not get stressed about itSUPER efforts everyone and not long to go now before the end and the beginning of the next years 365 1p Challenge 2025, which I've already started with low amounts for the next 5 months. Keep on going saving as much as you can and when you can.Is anyone doing the save £10 a month challenge? Same idea but payments increase by £10 each month. I'm enjoying this challenge because I've set-up a monthly standing order, which I obviously change the amount monthly, to a savings account.Don't you just love all those different pots of saved money
It's so easy to spend money on things you really don't need, even the dreaded 99p items which soon add up, but wonderful when you save all the money instead
It takes some initial effort to stop unnecessary spending but once you are in the flow, it becomes almost addicitive!
Keep up the great saving everyone

not seen the £10 saving challenge @Dizzycap, but will search for it as it sounds as though it would be a good idea as I could just save from my pension every month. Might see if I can do that one next year, and have a go at this one again with the money coming from DH's wages. I haven't done very well this year, so need to try harder next yearMaking the debt go down and savings go up

Evening everyone,
I've been paid for October, and my random number picker app gave me numbers totalling 5637 so £56.37 has gone into the account.
#6 new total is £550.46 which includes £5.71 in interest.
Well done to all those who have finished - great effort. Agree that any small amount saved is a big win!

#14 please add £60 for both November and December which brings my total to £670 and I'm stopping there (only a bit short!)
I managed to sell some things on Vinted, FB etc so I've managed to get ahead.
This is my Christmas/New year money and I've already starting shopping this week!
2025 1p Challenge I will start early again, as I need the money for the end of October/start of November for Christmas and New Year again.
Thanks for running the challenge, well done to everyone for saving, and keep going to those who haven't finished yet. Any amount saved is an achievement!£2 Saving Club 2024 #3 £12.000
