Hi everyone! It's great reading about everyone's progress.
#2 in October I potted £75.94. Getting there!
I learnt recently that according to pagan tradition, 1 November is the New Year, after the last harvest on 31 October, which is all linked to Halloween, pumpkins, and bonfires etc. I like the idea of renewal at this time of year, it makes way more sense to me, personally--starting a "new year" entering into winter. I don't know many people who feel particularly renewed on January 1st! So however you all feel at whatever time of year, and whatever festivals you celebrate personally, I hope you all enter into a restful and joyful winter
Thanks, @enthusiasticsaver for running the challenge and keeping our totals totted up.3 -
#12 checking in again with another £14.73 sent to the pot and crossed off numbers 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 335, 336, 337. Still a long way to go, but at least its creeping up slowly now. Total is now£181.02

I managed to sell some things on Vinted, FB etc so I've managed to get ahead.
This is my Christmas/New year money and I've already starting shopping this week!
2025 1p Challenge I will start early again, as I need the money for the end of October/start of November for Christmas and New Year again.
Thanks for running the challenge, well done to everyone for saving, and keep going to those who haven't finished yet. I have just paid in £60.30 for Novembers contribution so just one more payment to go. Well done to those who have already finished.
I have agreed to run the challenge again next year but I will not be taking names etc until nearer the end of the year. Please bookmark the thread and I will post up the new link when I set it up. Hope it has provided an incentive to save.
I don't have any plans for my savings so I will be rolling them into my main savings account at the end of the year.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. #45 - Moved £12.74 to my savings account on November 1st 😀
Tempted to also to do December's amount now so then it's finished 😅
I'm hoping to do carry on saving and I'm planning to use the money to go towards adult braces/Invisalign. I am definitely joining next year's challenge, thanks to this challenge and saving other small amounts each month I've managed to save £1125 so far 😀2
