NCP "Parking Charge Notice" Fine - outside of car park??

Hello all and thank you for hopefully taking the time to offer any help if even possible 🙈🙈
I received the other day the aforementioned letter from NCP informing me of the £100 fine for parking on double yellows, which I can't deny, but this was outside of their car park and not obscuring it or anything.
My question then is do I have any legs to stand on? I thought it would have to be the council to issue any fines for parking on double yellows with it having nothing to do with NCP besides the fact that these double yellows border/ are outside one of their car parks.
I know again it doesn't really help to say how I've seen countless others parking in the same places continuously, just feels rotten that I've been saddled with this for the one time I try and save a couple quid on the ever increasing parking prices when I'm supporting my dying centre regularly buying stuff. Not to mention how hard it is for someone like me suffering from autism to even get the confidence to go out and try taking part in hobbies 😖😖
Again it probably was just stupid of me to risk it, but from the forum stuff I read, everyone here seems so nice and knowledgable so I was perhaps hoping to at least try and hear what others had to say.
Thanks again for anything and all 💖

I did read through that first but couldn't clearly see anything about what to do with private parking tickets when you are outside of their car park and they assumingly don't have the right to give you a ticket?0 -
The very first Q&A says:
FAQS FIRST. NO THREAD IS NEEDED IF YOUR QUESTIONS ARE:
Q - ''I have read the NEWBIES thread but cannot find anything specific to my case...my case is different''.
A - NO IT ISN'T. YOU DO NOT NEED SPECIFICS. FORGET THE DETAIL, MOST CASES ARE ALL THE SAME.

Where exactly did this alleged parking event take place?0

I feel like this is a bit blind as I'm not complaining to be a special flower - this doesn't provide any help as from what I've seen there isn't anything regarding my questionCoupon-mad said:The very first Q&A says:

Well I was hoping you would be able to tell us the name of the road, which town it was in and hopefully the exact point on that road, so that we could try and understand why the parking company think you might have broken their rules.Lollip456 said:

What sort of information are you looking for besides what I provided?3 -
Sorry new to this whole thing wasn't sure how specific I should get since it says we shouldn't be details but I guess its fine as it doesn't relate to me.KeithP said:

I parked on that street going into their car park coming off Tacket St. - though plenty of room for cars to still get in and out, was still admittedly on double yellows.

I assume you mean here, though it's pretty obvious to me that it will be private land rather than a road from certain clues, however someone not particularly dull like me to study these things might not get it.The fact that there are simply no signs at all let alone anything even remotely conforming to the BPA COP would be a winner at POPLA and even the SCC in the unlikely event it got that far.So in spite of you thinking you need tailored advice you don't, the newbies has it all.

There is a terms and condition sign I noticed where that grey car is so will try and get a photo of that next time I can to get your thoughts on that.fisherjim said:I assume you mean here, though it's pretty obvious to me that it will be private land rather than a road from certain clues, however someone not particularly dull like me to study these things might not get it.The fact that there are simply no signs at all let alone anything even remotely conforming to the BPA COP would be a winner at POPLA and even the SCC in the unlikely event it got that far.So in spite of you thinking you need tailored advice you don't, the newbies has it all.
I do still fail to see how this is covered in the other newbies post? Sorry again if it is me just being dumb, but I feel like I'm not clearer on whether I have any leg to stand on or should resign to paying the £60.
I also found it interesting that on the letter it says it was recorded by ANPR, when it was obviously from the photos just some guys camera as I heard someone mentioning it but didn't think anything of it at the time 🙈🙈0
