Glad the moving issue was resolved promptly.  I agree with sorting out the cat and the insurance once you are there.

I'm sorry you're feeling so sick. I hope that improves soon.

Great that your sun has found a cheaper car option.
Son, not sun, obviously. I must have hit the wrong key in my haste to type.

I can't believe how fast your move date has come around!

If it helps, I didn't pay for packers either. I have some cast iron pots that are really heavy. I didn't want to put them in a box as I thought it would be too much weight. One of the movers asked if he could put them in a box rather than carry them. I said yes and explained why I hadn't. He packed up the three large ones, including two lids, into one box then put it on his shoulder, carried it down two flights of stairs and into the back of the van like he was carrying pillows. I was walking behind him with the third lid like I was carrying a table. They were great guys.

    All the best for tomorrow.

You sound as if you are on track for everything.  Good job you checked in with the movers.  All stress you do not need.

I agree, let the estate agent deal with the keys, you want to be getting on your way.

Hope everything goes well tomorrow, see you on the other side!

Third using the EA to drop the keys off at and pass onto buyer.

Cat will have to be kept in for a while when you get to the new place, so that will give you time to find a vet, change address on chip etc.

You are doing really well. Proper excited for your son coming over and tomorrow 🤩😊

You've done well getting the report in and packing.

Eat whatever you want, life's too stressful at the moment to be picky and fret.

With the home insurance I went for basic locks on the door and window locks. worst case is I had to ask the ins co to update the details after getting the keys. Honestly, it's nothing to worry about.

    Good luck tomorrow!

    It's very exciting times ahead.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • Hope all goes well tomorrow with the move.
