Well done on saying no to relatives.
I agree with the others, don't tidy for the buyers, they will understand. But equally I also relate to having to tidy a certain amount for your own needs."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4 -

I largely packed a double wide kitchen cupboard yesterday - roughly 1/3 to donate, rest to come with. It's progress. I think I'll pack what I can in my kitchen today - and consolidate the rest so it's pretty much done. I continued wrapping my apparently millions of canvases. I may have also played with paint like the irridescent paint I bought just before Xmas.
I went to MnS last night - and possibly overbought - but I now have:
Moussaka and triple cooked chips - which I may freeze for later next week
Pasta with a sauce
A bolognese sauce
Cheesy flatbread
roasting veg and potatoes - to go with chicken and sausage meat I defrosted yesterday - I'm hoping that will do 4 meals
I have 3-4 CG soups left
Prawn cocktail - that I can use for 2 meals with jacket spud - and also bought some salad to eat with it
Some sausage rolls in the freezer
A strawberry tart
Coffee cake
Other things in the freezer and tin cupboard. I need to buy more milk but other than that I probably have enough for now - I just need to perhaps freeze a couple of things as otherwise the dates will be wrong.
Hope you are having a good day where you are.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've just ordered concert tickets for me and DS to go and see Pink! Very excited - wanted to see her for years - but a) never organised enough and b) feared being overstimulated. It looks like I've managed to get aisle seats though which should massively improve the experience for me - and it should have a good view of the stage. DD would prefer to do something else so will decide on that later.
Done a tiny bit more packing in the kitchen. Everything takes forever. Distractability....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Very excited about Pink and about going there with DS. He is really calming for me so the perfect person to go with. I've wanted to see her for years - but always found out about her tour too late. £ was always tight too and I've always been anxious about whether I would cope in such a crowd. It feels lovely to be able to spend that kind of £ guilt free. It also gives me an event to look forward to later in the year - something beyond the move which currently feels all consuming.
I've also asked DS if he can come and support me the day of the move as a minimum and he's going to ask his work on Monday. Really hope it's a yes - as my cleaner has appointments for her kids that day so can't come. She is going to help this Monday and next for a few hours each time and her normal mid week slot and is hoping to come across the day after my move for a few hours to help me settle in and offer some support. That will make a big difference.
I feel like I've been pretty productive today. I've packed up what I can of the kitchen stuff and started stacking the boxes in the garage. I'm exhausted though so taking a break. It feels like the buyers are in cloud cuckoo land wanting to measure up tomorrow. They should have done that last time they came with their kids. Really hoping they don't bring an entourage.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

The buyers will have remembered/thought about/realised 101 things as they were starting to pack up their stuff, some of which needs measurements from your end 😊
I suspect they will be busy, so even if they bring an entourage they will be in and out in no time. You could always use the cat being distressed by strangers as an excuse to request that an excess of people stay in the car or outside?
