Thanks Jwil and Blackcats
Actually that's a good suggestion BC. I'll make up a list and price it with DD - she is looking for ways to get extra £ currently so that could work out well.
She liked my £5 bench from the reuse shop of last week. I'm considering going back to see if they still had a grey drawer unit I saw for £25. The drawers were a great craft stuff size but in grey and the drawers came in and out really easily. It's in aid of a hospice so good cause too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I managed to shower and went to an NT garden and mainly sat. I then did art. I did some washing and put my clothes away.
I've just checked in for my future flights. I've booked the parking. Now need to rapidly dress and get sorted for my online course which starts at 9!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Course feels very slow but exams won't be this week which is probably a relief. I'd like them over with though. It is therefore only 4 days so I will need to do normal work Friday but I have some stuff I hadn't got done so that should work out.
I had a bit of a panic attack before art last night though and arrived late and over emotional. I discarded my first 3 attempts but finally did a piece I liked using charcoal. I also did a couple of small watercolours yesterday.
On a quick course break. Just sent £330 to my CC but my spends are still escalating. Hopefully I have now done my big spends other than actual hotel accommodation costs and should start to see it go down from after my holiday and as my expenses get paid. I need to claim another £62 on expenses but they won't be paid until September.
Hoping today is a better day. I managed to do some tidying over the last couple of days. I even did some hoovering at lunch yesterday. It was nice to wake up to a tidier and cleaner bedroom. I need to try and work my magic on the lounge which is my current default art space as I like the art and the view but it is suffering from my recent collage efforts!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Suggestion for when you get back from your holiday - how about printing out the MSE Money Mantra for people not in debt and popping a few copies about the place as a bit of a visual prompt to be mindful about spending? Sometimes too the "step away and build in a pause" behaviour can help - I nearly impulse bought a coat on Sunday, but decided to step away and give it more consideration - it IS a "need" but was also more than I had anticipated spending. Eventually purchased online at a £20 saving yesterday - still an expensive spend, but definitely closer to my ideal budget for a item that will get a huge amount of use.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
