Thanks EH, WD, Jwil and @lookbook welcome to the forum

I did another charcoal drawing today of a ceramic owl pot and a metal bird candle holder. Pleased with how they came out.

I looked up that artist on utube WD that one isn't for me but I will look at others. I may try and get some nat geog on FB or equivalent as apparently they do a more vibrant range of colour in their magazines. I do have a subscription currently but haven't got around to reading them yet! I may use them and some existing stamps I have for collage play. I don't think I want to be in any single medium - I want to play across a few - more of a mixed media artist. I've just ordered some more art stuff but have docked it from my hobby fund.

When I finished the work course today there was a double rainbow and I got some beautiful shots of it. Made me smile. Today has been a little better in so much as I wasn't going out tonight so didn't end up overloaded. I'm still struggling though. It looks like next week's art course will run despite it being a bank holiday and that's the last session. I've not had any response to my query about funding for other courses. I need to chase tomorrow as it would be good to have something to look forward to on my return from holiday.

Thanks all. Life feels on fast forward. Parents coming tomorrow. My house is  a tip and I still need to clean and tidy... Oops. I've bought some food... cleared the dining table of the bedside tables I'd done one coat of paint on... Made very little progress

I remember someone telling me once, that so long as the table is laid and people have somewhere to sit, you give the impression of having prepared for visitors 😉
    Hope it goes well.
