    I also agree. Maybe they are just testing the market. After all, they did state up front what the reward would be.

    49p off someone's daily use of say 10kwh is a reduction in electricity price of 4.9p kWh.

    49p off someone's weekly use of say 70kWh is a reduction in electricity price of 0.7p kWh

    We can go higher if you like but I chose the average in fact more than the average use per day 2700.

    So for the so called average household that could equate to over 5p kWh saving for that saving day.

    Just another perspective and don't forget the other savings.....not burning as much coal and gas

    I probably won't bother but it may help some to know the event request is for 6pm to 7pm unusually.....

    And no guaranteed price. I'll try and post eons accepted bids if there are any
