I'm in too - let's see if I get it recorded this time! It may have been user error on the emails previously, perhaps, as I spotted just now that after I had clicked Opt In from the email, there was another page on which I had to click a further link. I'm not sure that I did that on previous occasions …

Last couple of activation emails have hit my spam folder too as they have quite a high score for some bad practices in the email. I'd email them about it but I'm not sure it would get to anyone who understands or cares.

I have run my own mail server for the purposes of spam filtering for the last 20 years, and I don't see any bad practices in the Octopus emails. In fact I see lots of very good practice, such as being DKIM signed with a valid signature and passing Sender Policy Framework (SPF) tests. They were sent from an octopus.energy domain and relayed from an octopus.energy smtp server with verifiable rDNS that isn't listed in any of the more reputable blacklists for sending spam. I'm not sure what more Octopus could reasonably do? I'd suggest it's the spam filtering that's at fault, not Octopus' emails.

I wish the incentive is as good as the old saver days though. I was a year too late getting solar and batteries so didn't manage to partake in those lucrative days.

I remember the days , when National Grid was the ESO ££ incentives, see below, then when it became NESO and Octopus would pay us out 80% of their bid price, and now they are paying 50% . I can't wait until NESO carry out their tests 29/8-13/9 with a GAP* of £500/MWh (50p/kWh) and then see how much sticks to the tentacles. (yes you can call me 🤨)
