It seems I saved nothing, so earned nothing. Probably because I did nothing, just didn't run any appliances. FIgured is wasn't worth annoying the OH by switching off the Christmas lights and TV for an hour. If I had switched all the power off, I could have possibly earned about 20p in Octoplus points (based on what I actually used), and probably found that the alarm system backup battery can't last an hour!.

Saved a massive 6Wh and got 8 points for my (halfhearted) effort.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Octopus couldn't get date from our meter, so have credited 22p, which they say was the average.0

Saved 4p, not worth the bother any more2

176 octopoints (i.e. 22p) for the last session because they weren't able to get data from out meter so we got average saving...
strange thing is we switched electricity away 2 days before the session... so got a small credit towards our gas bill0 -
Crikey. 22p average. So the average saving was just over a third of a kWh. That's hardly going to be a much of help in reducing demand on the grid is it. Surely that can't be what the powers that be are looking for.
