All regions are in tonight, but they may get differing saving slots in the future.
  • My e-mail to say about opting in is what had the time slot information.  I haven't actually looked at my account, other than checking that turning the heating down (off) did actually reduce the live usage.

Can't help but get the teenage sulking vibes from Octopus HQ, with the half-hearted effort to notify us and WhatsApp shenanigans, I wonder if they want to make a point about the rewards being too low to bother with.
  • I got this email this morning and signed up, a short window and not at the best time to save for me, but probably still saved 2kWh so £1.20.
  • So what's the betting we'll see the same again tomorrow, given the lack of wind, etc.?

Although the sums are hardly lifechanging, I've probably made an average of £5 or £10 a month from Octopus's various free electricity sessions, spinning the wheel and now this. All the little bits are adding up to a worthwhile bonus for me.

Max I've made is about 30p (no export), but that would be a 10p discount per kWh I did use at today's premium price.
