Good morning my lovelies xx
I've caught up with my zzzzzs after my unexpected foray into WAC on Tuesday night. I woke up at 5.40 and thought Nope. Oh look it's 5 to 10. Weird dreams about decluttering in between. Again.
So I'm up, made my bed, and I'm supping a brew. Abandoned my 'get up early and do the Christmas present shopping' idea completely for today. There's only that and Visit Pops left from my original list.
To Do Today List
Brew 2 and breakfast
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
WUDUPA
And that HH MAD in the kitchen will happen today. Come on Round. No Mark Harmon tonight if you don't!
Wishing you all a good day.

WHAT A MORNING!!!
Pixie forgot her viledin so we had to run that back to school.. decided to do a tip run of the 5 binbags in the hallway.. got stuck at roadworks.. ran the stuff in the tip.. stopped for cat scran and litter on the way home.. get in to find water PI$$Ing through the kitchen ceiling.. Moomin kicked out of the shower.. kitchen ceiling picked up off the table.. carpet washer used to mop up.. so much quicker then the actual mop! .. sat down with a cuppa.. moomin called 'I'm at the hospital I just passed out having bloods done and had a seizure and they won't let me leave alone' ... so we collected her..
While paying in pet shop I get a text from the sister I haven't spoken to in 8 years.. THEN!!!! she turns up at my house.. she is thanked for bringing my old Noddy books.. (before goblins! when they had gollies) .. I was polite and asked how her husband is doing.. he just had surgery for skin cancer and they found dodgy lymph nodes so I know she is having a worrying time.. I did NOT need any of that this morning..
I just need a wee and a cuppa..
This village must have some very handy handy-persons because I can't deal with this kind of aggravation with water ingress and stuff going down.. I want to cry..
Chappy turned up £30 quote to clear the back gutters and seal a busted seal.. one leak sorted.. they are looking at the bathroom next and seeing if they can do anything to sort the shower leaking.. then I can get the kitchen ceiling fixed... I am just tired.
Moomins next appointment is 10th.. so I am going with her and making sure she eats before she goes.. and having a snack for after and some sucky suary thing for during.. maybe a lolly we can pull out should she pass out again.
It is never ending in here.. I swear I am so done!
Off to check for further water.. clean the table.. load the WM's and shuffle the airers.. I need to find something I cn actally eat since toast is out and omelette and soup (had last pea and ham yesterday and only have chicken and chicken noodle and carrot&coriander which is bleurgh) It may be rice and pan fried sea bass.

Pigpen that it is a lot to deal with in one day! Hope you are OK.
It feels like DH has been decorating the kitchen for 3 years. I am so fed up with the mess.
Another long day at the paid stuff but I made time to go for lunch with MIL for her birthday. Work conference tomorrow so will be out of the house from 7.15am to at least 5.30pm. I don't usually do such a long day on a Friday.
Feet up now and early night.10 -

It got worse before it got better.. I ended up having DD1 here because she was worried about going home and her ex turning up kicking off.. he has been told he is not allowed to see the children as he abusive. OH has ust taken her home.
I need to check her smoke alarms and I really want her to move closer.
I need to do pack ups still and dinner for the grown ups (4 of us).. the children were all fed (9 of them)
And we just remembered Squeak has cookign tomorrow.. fun times.

I'm not sure how much flying I've done today other than dailies and cooking dinner. Mr N, however, cleaned the spare bedroom and bathroom while I was out at Pilates as his brother is staying for a few days next week. Does thinking about meal plans count?
In between washing up and going to Pilates I had a chat with DB, who has just had a couple of days at Mum's sorting out her computer. So it wasn't me; her computer had a fault so he has swapped it with a spare and taken hers home to fix.
Messaged friend (B) in care home; she wasn't up for a visit today but she thinks maybe tomorrow. I commented (this is all by text) that I look forward to meeting her for a coffee as her home has what looks like a nice coffee bar (I looked at the web site); I was a little alarmed that she said she hasn't been brave enough to leave her room yet. However it sounds as if her daughter has been near for the last few days (she lives in London and has 2 teenage daughters herself) but she is going home today/tomorrow. Perhaps I'll hear the whole story at some stage. Anyway B said she would love to see me. It's all sounding very sad as I know her through teaching as well as a shared background in science; I attended her creative writing class many years ago and we then used to bump into each other when I was teaching at the same community college; we've been friends ever since. I checked the calendar and we last went out for lunch together at the end of June, so that isn't very long to deteriorate.
Went to Mr T after drumming lesson to top up on things I couldn't get in Mr A yesterday.
Wrote more of a report.
Wrote and emailed pay claim.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
