I'd love to do front of house in the cafe, Honey_Bear - I like chatting to people, though I do tend to go and hide away for a while after I've done a long stint of that
Pigpen, that is one h***uva list of allergies! I hope you can find something that you really enjoy eating.
I have done everything off my list today apart from writing out what I wanted to try and achieve during this week
The last of the Christmas puddings is in the SC to cook gently overnight.
As well as towels, I also washed the bath mats.
I have dried almost all the washing and FUPA what I can.
I've gone through 9 photo albums and several folders of recent pictures on my computer to find the best ones of DS1, who avoids being caught on camera whenever possible; the older digital photos (1994-2018) are on a separate hard drive, so sorting through them will be my priority job in the morning.
Rosie and I went for a walk up to the 3 fields and were lucky that the rainclouds missed us. My arthritis has flared up with all this chilly dampness.
I bought a large swede on Sunday, too much for us for a single meal, and as I hate the smell when you leave a cut piece of swede in the fridge, I chopped it up and cooked it all with some sliced giant carrots, put batches into the food processor, and now have 3 tubs of mash in the FF to use over the coming month.
I did HHI this evening (kept swapping from one hand to the other, to rest my shoulder) and emptied the basket.
DH WULTD, and before coming up to bed I put everything away and left the kitchen tidy.
Tomorrow I must hoover and dust downstairs.
I'm off to my warm nest with my hot water bottle. See you in the morning - hope you all sleep well xxx

Wandering in....oooo cookies and Betty's tea. (Who's Betty? Hope she doesn't mind sharing). Yesterday I peopled from 2 pm til just gone 7 ...apart from the bit in the middle when I got lost driving from H's house to the pub. Eeeek. I enjoyed myself....but here I am. WAC. Not particularly anxious. But not in the slightest bit sleepy. Peopling obviously disturbs my equilibrium. A psychologist once told me that I'm allergic to excitement. Marvellous!
Hope you are all safely tucked in and fast asleep. Sweet dreams my lovelies.

Morning all
I hope you got some more sleep Round xx
Lots to do today, BUT, I have recognised that I am always rushing to complete whatever it is I am doing, whether it's paid stuff, feeding the animals, posting on here, tidying up. So today is the day of being more mindful of this and SLOWING DOWN.
I will shortly enjoy a leisurely shower. The DW has been emptied, laundry sorted and I am typing this on the lappy in bed with a cuppa.
Have fab days all xx9 -
Round…Betty’s… a yorkshire tea room, think they do mail order. Betty’s of Harrogate I think. I’ve been to one in York.
Just having my vertical half hour. Paid stuff today.
Need to pop to pharmacy so after work for that.
WM and DW x1. too wet to peg out. Promised to put a stew in the SC so will do that before I leave the house.
Hope all have good daysDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I did eventually get back to sleep. And I've woken up feeling tired round the edges. Meeting L at the posh farm shop cafe at 10.15. I wonder if they stock Betty's tea bags? I like looking round the shop but the prices make me wince.
I'm up, made my bed, and made a brew.

Morning all
Hope the poorlies feel better.
Re the flylady village, I fancy running a bistro that also does takeway (not typical quick fry stuff like burger/hunters chicken/curry but better stuff like coq au vin, boeuf bourguignon, roasts, home made soups and vegan and vegetarian options.) But of course I would make sure it didn't clash with any food that @Honey-bear did in the pub/tea rooms. I'm sure we could work it so we complemented each other.
I did the bathroom yesterday and put a load of washing on the line which dried nicely. No washing today - it's blowing an almost-gale out there and pouring down with rain.
My 1kg of fresh yeast arrived this morning (nicely packaged up with an ice block in an insulated bag in a cardboard box) - unexpectedly v. early. I'd checked the delivery tracker about 7am and it said it was 'dispatched'. I've just checked the tracker again and it still says 'dispatched'. Next stage is 'out for delivery'. But, there was a knock on the door just after 8am and lo and behold there it was in a box on the doorstep. I was still in my nightie and dressing gown... It's now in the fridge. That will be my priority this morning. I will get out the scales, my stash of little self-seal plastic bags and weigh and portion up into loaf size pieces to put in said bags, just like a drug dealer... They can then all go in the freezer for a later day.
I'll Dyson my boudoir this afternoon when, hopefully, the wind has blown the rain through and there may be some sunshine for me to see what I'm doing!
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Has CoG not been about the last few days? I hope they're ok.. I was getting used to his company..
I have decluttered my house of smallish girls and cleared the table.. OH made a cuppa.. we need to do a tip run so I might persuade him to do that next... but he might say no as it is raining and icky out there.
I got Dot in a coat.. I ordered it from V!nted... took it out of the bag and ut it on her and shved her out of the door.. she will wear it happily again now because it will smell ok.. but she squawks about new things otherwise.

Thank you Ionafan for being front of house and to Soapie for offering to do the proper cooking elsewhere. The pub/tea room will only be doing things like fabulous coffe, cake, toasted sarnies with a swift half or glass of wine or cream teas; snacks not proper meals. All very complimentary. I like this village.Today I will be doing the things I should have done yesterday - the shower, sorting out the scullery area, shuffling laundry, mending my lovely new top that somehow got a hole in it in Bath, and seeing how much I can cram into my new Easy*et carryon suitase; not much for five days judging by the size of it.Better is good enough.8

Morning all, just.
I have done a work shift, dailies, dog walk, got first of two wash loads in machine, filed my nails and checked banking. Going to just read my book before meeting with friends later.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
