Hi everyone,
Earlier in the week:
Look at the finances for this month
Make a festive food list
Do preventative treatment for the cat
Today
Get dressed
Feed the animals
Unpack after uni field trip.
Do some reading for uni
Do paid stuff
Answer messages regarding lambing work and post an updated advert.
Go and get the wood for the DIY job
Put up the curtain rails
Order the curtains for the bedroom
Dust the bedroom
Clean the inside of the bedroom windows.
Make a start on ordering festive food.
Think that is everything that I need to get completed today. Hope everyone has a good Wednesday.

Afternoon all, not been on here yet this week! Bad mumtoomany! Monday I shoveled and wheelbarrowed lots of sheep !!!!!!. They have been hiding in a barn, when the weather is bad, for several years. The poop is about a foot deep. They can't get in now, new door and wall, so transporting it to the veg beds. This will be a long job. Yesterday was shopping day, took most of the day. Today I've started to sort our bedroom. We are away for christmas, DD1's in laws are coming here, so i need to make our room liveable. Also made another dozen mince pies and two parkin cakes, now in the oven.
Regarding the Flying village, I'm in. But it's it possible to move everyone here, lots of space here. I don't want to move and lose the fruit trees I've planted. Also, if we all live in the same place, we can donate the Flying bus to pigpen. And chip in for driving lessons. I think she needs it most. Be better all together, asb will have more bodies when livestock needs moving. I'll grow lots of fruit and veg for us all, and dadtoomany can be in charge of wood chopping, tree felling, and car maintenance. Let me know when you'll all be arriving.
Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.8 -

Hope the poorlies feel better.
Re the flylady village, I fancy running a bistro that also does takeway (not typical quick fry stuff like burger/hunters chicken/curry but better stuff like coq au vin, boeuf bourguignon, roasts, home made soups and vegan and vegetarian options.) But of course I would make sure it didn't clash with any food that @Honey-bear did in the pub/tea rooms. I'm sure we could work it so we complemented each other.
I'll work for one of you, part time

Never did get round to my boudoir because, despite the forecast, it hasn't brightened up at all today.
Mr T came but it was the grumpy driver. Because I have mobility issues these days, since Mr T stopped delivering stuff in bags, I ask the driver nicely if they could bag it all up for me (in bags I give them) on the doorstep. The bags then get left in the porch and I am able to take my time carrying them through one by one and putting the shopping away - usually takes about an hour with rests in between.
This one always gets grumpy when I ask him to pack the bags.. Today he said I should help him. I said I wasn't able to because of health issues. He started to argue the point and in the end, I just said "OK, just take it all it all back to the shop then." That shut him up and he did what all the other drivers are more than happy to cheerfully do without another word. It's not the first time he's been argumentative. I think, if he does it again, I'll put in a complaint.
Spent two hours portioning up the fresh yeast but have run out of little bags so there's a small bit of yeast gone back in the fridge and Amazon will deliver a new supply tomorrow. The portions are now in the freezer.
Pheasant in the slow cooker for dinner. DW has been on and now needs emptying but I'll sit down with a cuppa and the crossword first.
@Valli, I'm sure the pub and the bistro would be delighted to have you on board. We could alternate you... one week in the pub, the next in the Bistro.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Cleaned the shower room, did everything on my list except mend the top and packed the tiny suitcase. I'm now compiling a list of all the stuff I can take out, still need to put in worrying about whether Easyj*t is like R*anair and doesn't think women need handbags. I can get a lot of useful stuff in a handbag.Have also 'delegated' bird feeding and lawn/leaf raking to the chap opposite. Belovéd has organised a date for the residents AGM, this year thankfully not in Christmas week. I have a packet of filo pastry in the freezer so I think I'll make a batch of Delia's mincemeat and turn it into crispy crunchy mince pies for the AGM and carol singing.Better is good enough.9

Just reading the radio times. Got all excited when i saw "That's my Jam". Expecting sugar, fruit, pectin, pans, etc. Apparently it's about music! I'm disappointed.
See you all tomorrow, hugs, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.10 -
I agree that @mumtoomany ‘s house would be a great place for our village. And if dadtoomany is happy to chop the wood even better! It dried up a bit this afternoon and I enjoyed feeding the animals at tea time. We had HG lamb for tea, with mash, yorkies and cauli cheese. I’m in bed now - alarm set for 5am. I have absolutely loads I need to do before noon tomorrow, when I am on annual leave until Tuesday.I also booked February half term week off, looked at some bills and shoved them in a drawer. They can wait until next week.
Sleep well all xx9
