They took my £5 fee today too, and I didn't get anything back as only one DD came out in December (account I switched in has two DDs but one is earlier in the month).
I think I've worked out my 28 working days are up on 12 January.Credit card debt: £7847.24 £7167.16

They took my £5 yesterday taking me overdrawn, but with £5 in the rewards account - I hadn't budgeted for that and only resolved the issue today, hoping it doesn't incur a fee. Now closed my Blue Rewards account.0

I joined in Nov and even though I enjoy a higher rate on the Rainy day saver account because of the Blue rewards account they have never debited the £5 fee yet.0

Along with what @LottieLu and @zedonk have said in the last few posts, by my thinking if you signed up on the final day the offer was available (Thursday 30th November) then the 28 working days would be Tuesday 9th January, however with Christmas and new year being week days they may not be calculated as working days and so I would give it until the end of next week for the switch cash to be added. People who opened their account sooner should theoretically get the cash sooner. I am assuming that the 28 working days start from when the account was opened rather than when the switch was confirmed as complete. If it is from the date the switch was deemed complete then for me that starts on 8th December, and so the 28 days later would be a week or so later.
If those who are still waiting for the switch cash can post when they receive it, along with the date the opened the account and the date the switch was confirmed by Barclays, then it may give other users who are waiting a better idea when they might be getting their cash. It won't be a strict guide of course, given how sporadic and haphazardly Barclays behave, but it might be useful!1 -
£5 taken today from rewards (transaction date was yesterday), will be a complaint winging their way if I don't get the £5 from last month as I had 2x DD paid and £800 paid in

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I didn't pay the £800 in so far and today I had no £5 reward (for last 2 DD taken) and no fee taken. I left the blue rewards for the moment also.

You left Blue Rewards but still expect to receive the reward payment, despite the terms stating otherwise? Or do you mean 'left' as in 'left it alone' so it's still active? Did you pay in £800 in December?
I was notified yesterday at 18:46 that the £5 fee had been paid from my current account, and the £5 reward simultaneously appeared in my Blue Rewards wallet.

In December I had 2x DD out and paid in £800 (and I paid in £800 for November anyway)
In January I had the £5 debited but was not credited the £5 for December the same day. I left the rewards scheme (confirmed by email) on the second working day as they hadn't debited me in the morning. I figured it would be the same result - I don't pay in £800 and leave and then don't get credited for December but don't pay a fee in January or I pay the fee in January but get the reward credited for December. They took the £5 on the 3rd working day but backdated the transaction to the day before but I didn't get the £5 hence my post
As it happens, they credited the £5 rewards for December today so all good, net gain of £190 - bonus, 2x £10 cashback, 1x £5 blue rewards - x2 £5 blue rewards membershipSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

That's great to hear. You paid the fee, so Barclays still honoured the pending reward payment. Was your Blue Rewards Wallet still open this morning to receive it, or was it credited directly to your current account?
It was risky to cancel Blue Rewards on the second working day of the month, which is probably what caused the delayed processing. The terms state you need to cancel by 5pm on the last day of the month to avoid the being charged the next fee, but when you cancel, your Blue Rewards Wallet is closed and you will no longer be eligible for any pending rewards that have yet to be credited. Had you waited until later that evening (on the second working day), it's likely you would have paid the fee and received the reward as usual.

As for reading the terms, honestly I didn't as many people on this topic said it would work out that you lose £5 overall regardless and I also was holding on to see if they'd give a new cashback offer or not. Plus 3-4 days of interest from the saver lol. As it happens, the rainy day saver is still open so waiting for that to close, I put my spare cash in Kroo anyway so not losing out on a lot - I suppose I could bounce £100 in and out 8 times but I can't be bothered with the hassle though I'll store the funds for my DDs in Kroo now and transfer to Barclays rather than holding in the saverTo enjoy Barclays Blue Rewards, you’ll need to:- Pay the £5 monthly fee
- Have at least £800 paid into your nominated account every month
