Morning all
@Valli I'm hoping I can survive on my pensions without having to take on a part-time job.
Mr T due to deliver this morning.
The one-person sized quiche WILL be made once the flour arrives.
I WILL pack up one box of DS's gibble from one of the two rooms that are now spare since he moved next door.
Hope everyone is well and stays safe from the wind and rain.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

So... I did nothing last night. I flopped down on the couch exhausted when I got home from work. Went to bed at 7.30pm and slept. Tonight will be miuch the same i think so there won't be much - or any - Flylady happening. Thiursday I am in work for an open evening until 8.15pm so won't be ome until nearer 9pm. With that in mind it will probably be the weekend before much gets done. My goal for next week would be to try and get more done during the week to free up my weekend.9

Iona - I get very worked up about homework. The amount DD is expected to do now she is in Year 7 is SHOCKING. Combined with the fact that her day starts and ends much earlier now (she leaves the house at 7.30am, back at 4pm) means there is little time for relaxation and fun. I do some of the online quizzes myself to lighten her load, rightly or wrongly.Animals fed, first load in WM, LR polished and hoovered, fire re-laid xx11

That home work is ridiculous for a 9 year old, and I can imagine that plenty of parents wouldn't be able to offer the support that you kindly did. If a child had to fave that largely or wholly on their own that would be so demotivating I would think. It's cold and grey and I'm currently trying to motivate myself to get going properly. All I've done so far is administer eye drops. I'm limiting flying today and tomorrow as we have some friends coming for a meal on Saturday evening and again on Sunday and I don't want the housework to 'peak' too soon if you know what I mean and I have to do it all again at the last minute. That is probably lazy and slovenly but it is what it is.......11

Morning all. The usual hugs/sticks etc all available.
My first post of the week as after a busy weekend in Piggers land then looking after DGD2 I was under instructions from DH to rest yesterday so I did.
Today, I have s&sd bathrooms, done dailies, walked Poppet and done a work shift.Spend less now, work less later.12 -
I finally got going and popped out to a nearby shop and bought an envelope for a card and magazine that I'm sending to a friend. I wrote the card and packed it up with the mag and also wrote a birthday card for my great nephew. I was just about to go out to post them when the gentle rain that was coming down got a lot heavier and it is now coming down stair rods. I need to go to church shortly but will drive instead of walking as I'd planned. All this rain is seriously impacting on my walking schedule.

Halloween done so.... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jazee.. you should have popped for a cuppa.
One length of gutter cleared but OH can't get to the other bit.. so I have a gutter chap hopefully popping along this afternoon.
Loo unblocked
Dead desk splatted and in the tip pile.
Digging up drugs to be washed down with the cuppa.. my little toes don't hurt..
Dot sorted for christmas
Boog is very close to being rehomed... I am very done with the CF attitude!! We had a flounce because the dr prescribed the old insulin AND the current one.. I said you have the one you need, what is the problem?? I ordered it and went and picked it up.. they don't even do that for themselves! Then there was a tantrum over me reminding the whole house that the cost of living payment is not for computer parts so they can each have a bill to pay! Apparently I am unreasonable because I won't let them keep it.. I didn't realise the new VR headset (£500!!) is more important than the bills.. and THEN.. there was the tantrum when the attempt to gaslight me didn't work and I called them out on it and they had th absolute cheek to come into the room and greet us with 'hello liars' ... THEN I lost my chill!!!
